I love your long posts. I am going to put you on my buddy list. I do not need a video to see which way the wind blows. Minor crosses state line to attend a Blm gathering in order to make black folks behave. That is my opinion and I am sticking to it.

OMG, Rittenhouse crossed state lines!  WTF! I would never cross a state line.  I'm sure you guys wouldn't cross state lines. God forbid!

Rittenhouse traveled approximately one mile across state lines to where Rittenhouse worked as a life guard. Rittenhouse visited his family and friends that lived in Kenosha, including his grandmother, cousins, and dad. He did not carry a weapon across state lines, because his rifle was kept in Kenosha.

This is what the Media said about Rittenhouse crossing state lines-

It’s not that cut and dry… Each scenario and situation would be different and there is a third option, call the cops.

I have guns but I don’t like guns and get uneasy around people that I don’t know with guns.  If saw someone walking or running around with a gun in an area that was perfectly legal to do so, I would choose to leave that area. It would be illegal and very stupid to try and disarm that person if the individual wasn’t breaking any laws.

The notion of disarming even a predator is ill-advised.  The gun is not the threat, the person is, or more to the point, his brain is.  That’s what needs to be shut down to eliminate the threat.

All the disarming techniques I came across from different martial arts as well as law enforcement are also ill-advised and can get one killed.

So you think folks should have taken away  the weapons the Antifa and Black Lives Matter were carrying? This video shows Rosenbaum approaching multiple armed men. Including rifle toting Black Lives Matter people. Rosenbaum screams several times, " Shoot me, N-word!"  Eyes and ears don't lie. This video took place only minutes before Rosenbaum took BaldFriede's advise.

Kyle Rittenhouse was lucky; the young lad could have been hospitalized or killed.  Are his assailants going to be charged?

It’s hard to tell from the video if Kyle meant to shoot Grosskretz in the arm.  This would have been a mistake, in a situation like that you don’t aim to injure.  For survival, the threat needs to be neutralized; the predator needs to be made nonfunctional.

All in all things worked out… Next time i’m out drinking I may have to order a Rittenhouse!

I detest violence… There are 2 types of violence, antisocial and asocial.  In antisocial aggression there is a way out and should be taken.  Usually, there’s 2 male gorillas beating their chests and throwing sh*t at each other to establish dominance.  It doesn’t have to escalate and go asocial if one of them backs down.

There is a fine line between the two, an example of antisocial behavior on the edge would be -  say you accidentally bumped into someone in a bar and apologized.  However, the drunken fool postured in front of his friends and wanted to start a fight.  You apologize again but he throws his drink in your face.  Your friends are watching, what do you do? Is there still a chance you can talk your way out of it?

Yes, this would be Close to the Edge, Wink but it doesn’t necessarily have to turn asocial.  You can place a ten or twenty on the bar, tell the bartender that because of you that guy spilled his drink and would like to buy him another one.  Then start backing away slowly toward an exit, be vigilant and get the hell out of there. It’s worth 20 bucks not to engage, not to take a chance of ending up in jail, hospital, or morgue.

In an asocial situation there is now way out, no amount of talking and there is nothing that can be done to avert the violence about to take place. If someone has a knife to your throat or a gun to your head this is an asocial situation and there is only one way out.  There is only one person walking away on their own accord, I hope you have to necessary tools in your tool bag to be you.

There are a lot of predators in the world, and I hope no one here ever encounters one.

Examine the video closely and then decide for yourself if what Kyle faced was antisocial or asocial?  Try not to be swayed by some of the brainless comments on some of the videos.

Violence is hardly ever the answer, but when it is the answer, it’s the only answer.

Cool, I empathize with that opinion. I would never carry a firearm in public. However, in the USA it's legal in most states to carry firearms.  I support the 2nd Amendment of the USA's constitution.

And I think it is outdated and should be removed. There was a historical reason for it, but this reason is no longer applicable today. This 2nd amendment is one of the main reasons why the USA has by far the most gun-related killings per capita in the world.

Criminal elements always have ways to get access to guns. This is not different in Germany either.

All three men were found guilty of murder in the killing of Ahmaud Arbery.  I figured for sure that their pleas of  self-defense would work for them too.

No, that was cut and dry murder. They had no defense at all. That case was far different than Kyle's blunderous behavior.

Agreed, but the way our courts have decided some cases made me expect a different outcome.  If this had occurred in Florida they would probably have been cleared under the "stand your ground" concept like Zimmerman.

You literally accused another forum user of supporting pedophilia and domestic violence just because he didn't agree with you on a completely unrelated topic. In my eyes you've lost your right to bemoan people personally insulting you.

Would a normal, fair-hearted man as you describe, after being forced to put an end to the lives of two humans just because he was in the wrong place at the wrong time, go on to flaunt and cash in on his newly found fame what with his Tucker Carlson appearance and attempted sponsorship deal by Blaze Media? So much for there being "no winners" in this case.
Why would a law-abiding citizen show up to a dangerous situation in order to protect a business that had already been destroyed the previous night and whose owner neither wanted nor asked for assistance from armed vigilantes, against the advice of the city's mayor and county sheriff, in defiance of a police curfew and with a firearm he had no legal right to possess and which was registered in someone else's name? Why would such a sweetheart of a person spend the night with an outright Neo-Nazi and go on to flash a white supremacist hand gesture while partying with Proud Boys members?

Even if I believed that Rittenhouse did no wrong at all, I would still find the glorification of this man and his actions by right-wing media to be utterly appalling and irresponsible. What happened in Kenosha was a tragedy, not something to be celebrated. How many far-right nutcases will interpret this as a message that they can shoot protesters of the opposite side and get away with it?

Getting back to the Arbery convictions, I must say I had my doubts about a jury of 11 whites and 1 black. Can you imagine that outcome 20 to 30 years ago?
