I don't remember exactly, though I guess my list would be very similar to yours, with Impressione di Septembre as my absolute favourite. |

Simply love Appena un po’. For a lifetime.
And the debut. I should cover a top 10 right there. Good stuff after, but not so consistent. |

I think I am more used to PFM by now so I might include Dove Quando and Corroza Di Hans on my list. Isola di Niente has some good tracks on it, but I need to listen to it more and Chocolate Kings is rather flawed. There is not as much of that interplay between the members and more vocals from "Mr. Italian Peter Gabriel Man" or Bernardo Lanzetti. Chocate Kings still has fresh instrumentation though. With Jet Lag, I only heard one track, and forgot about it afterwards, and I predict that there will be a "be-careful-what-you-wish-for" moment when they return to Italian vocals on Passpartu.

Hi, Hahahaha ... love it. Let me put on one of the shows from 1974 ... to verify what you said! That promo was cool, btw! As for "top song" ... unfortunately I do not listen to songs ... I listen to albums in their entirety, and many times I don't remember the name of the song, but its placement and beauty in the album stays with me. I love them all ... and if you ask me the order ... I don't care. Just give me the music!

Music is not just for listening ... it is for LIVING ... you got to feel it to know what's it about! Not being told!

It seems to me that PFM headed initially in a more technical direction on Chocolate Kings (ELP's influence maybe?) and then more 'jazz funk' on Jet Lag . I think they are all interesting albums and importantly they tried to evolve. Chocolate Kings actually has my favourite PFM track (see above) when I think they got the balance about perfect between the technical side of the music and the composition and 'feel'.
