^ Oh well, no surprise there that you disagree with me again. Smile

I'd be flabbergasted if you actually agreed with me for once. In fact, my flabber would be more gasted than it's even been gasted before. Smile

A lot of his albums just have too much melancholy themes, slow paced I guess is a way to put it.
His catalog is huge, so there is enough for me to pick and choose from, the early records are done really well and no doubt his massive guitar skills and innovative technique is not to be dissed. But his reserved attitude plays into the music sometimes......I kinda liken his music to Uli Jon Roth, when he left Scorpions his music became celestial, very cool for 1-2 records but the whole catalog is tough.
Should have included Uli Jon Roth in my list.....
Steve Hackett's latest album "At the Edge of Light" is one of my 5-star favourites. Thumbs Up

I wonder if Cristi is going to disagree with me about that album too. Wink
That's the beauty of music....so subjective, there is no right or wrong.....Even if you're the only one to give it 5 stars, no worries Big smile.

You two just need to get a room and have a pillow fight and figure it out!! WinkWinkSmileLOLLOLLOLHugHandshakeBeer

Hi,

Tough to make calls on who is better or best, but I kinda went by the number of Albums I had on these folks.. although I have over 30 albums by KS but none of these really fit as "best" for me, because I love to many of them to choose. I would have liked to add Roger Chapman to the list, but it was already gone too far as it was!

Peter Hammill
Roy Harper
Daevid Allen
Edgar Froese
Holger Czukay
Kate Bush
Robert Wyatt
Klaus Schulze
Jeff Beck
John McLaughlin
Music is not just for listening ... it is for LIVING ... you got to feel it to know what's it about! Not being told!
