Well, glad you enjoy it. I appreciate it but thought others might comment on it being too noise-y. The piano break, as Nickie refers to, I find very pretty and like that contrast

I love Eskaton, but would feel like I'd be cheating a bit by including that one. I wouldn't, but as it is in PA and is a well-known band in Zeuhl circles. I love "Dagon".

I actually am still favouring the Melt-Banana, even if I now feel a little banana-split due to comments as I was so confident in that choice when I posted it. It fit the brief for me of being very energetic rock and I was going to avoid mentioning any in PA (Koenji Hyakkei from Japan, and is Zeuhl, being one that came to mind). My mind did go to the more frenetic/ hectic punk-rock place when I read the OP. I thought about doing one from the Plasmatics too with Wendy O.

Here is a live performance of Melt-Banana with the same song not opening for Camel (poor sound quality, but then perhaps with the "noise" it would be hard to tell anyway).



I have seen Melt-Banana's vocals compared to Mickey Mouse. A high-energy Japanese rockin' and rappin' punk Mickey Mouse female sounds like something special to me. :)

  Yes, that is why it caught my ear.  Those banana-split decision, not very apeeling.

I'm not complaining. The thing is I like controversy and criticism, and I like to be challenged. The poll is fine even though it's not that much down my alley. What I less like (although I grudgingly adapt at times) is the idea that only positive things should be said.
