Hi! Just happened to check out this thread. I haven't been active since my last poll, I don't think I even voted on it. I felt bad for not hosting it properly but I needed some time off. I might participate on a future poll but it wouldn't be fair to host the next one.

Would people mind if I do a lightning round in the meantime? Two days to nominate, two full days to vote? (bit shorter than I would like, but...) Probably wont get much response. It might just be a be a list one of your very favourite songs in or out of PA, vote for three not your own and don't exclude those you know well when it comes to voting (makes it easier when others might well know it already). If no one objects, I might start a lightning round in the next hour or two.

Sounds like a great idea, Nickie.   I quickly set up a little lightning round poll in the meantime (wanted to do this long ago) until the next big proper one (yours) comes. if you decide to do your earlier, that's fine too. Mine is quite different from the other ones.

The lesser known prog poll would be a good one.  There are definitely a lot of candidates out there.

Thanks for your vote for that, George and Mike.  Yeah, I think we only had one.  I know of several deserving artists, spend a lot of time listening to newer progressive music and some fine stuff seems to almost fall through the cracks.
