That's an amazingly well done tribute. Much respect to all the musicians in the OSU Marching Band!
It's funny seeing this topic bumped since I watched a great RUSH concert from 1994 during their Counterparts tour last night. Watching Peart putting on an absolute clinic on the skins made me sad knowing that he's no longer with us but I'm glad that his music and performances will live on forever.

I think there's a confusion in the dates there. He died on January 7th of last year, but he was born September 12th of 1952. So the post might have been referring to his birthday instead
In any case, he's still missed greatly

Not to be too repetitive, but it's not going to happen. There was hope immediately after R40 that they might kick out one more album, but Neil wouldn't hear about it, and after a little while it didn't matter if he would've like to or not. Geddy and Alex may make more music, maybe even together, but it won't be called Rush.

Well Alex already has, you can hear the 2 songs released last month here. I suspect a full album is coming by year end. Watching interviews about his new music he is constantly asked about touring for it and his response is no, although he is open to a slight maybe. But in general I don't think he will tour the states or Canada playing this music. He might do a couple small venue shows but I do believe he is done touring and living in hotels and buses. I have not heard anything about Geddy and new music.
