4 stars1980: TRY - Just a Try (Progressive Rock • Germany) - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d-ki9ogKOU4

If you're in the mood to Try something a little different, then Try this. Just a Try is a unique album that sounds like no prog album you've ever heard before, and hopefully, you might like it too, just as I did. Thumbs Up

Trace: an Ekseptional Dutch symphonic power trio led by Rick van der Linden, sounding like ELP on steroids! Thumbs Up

Final Trace

I have their second one ...Birds..on original vinyl...found it in Indianapolis for $7.
Good music.
Thumbs Up

^ I'd happily buy all three of their albums, although I doubt if I'd find a Trace of them in our record stores, where the only Dutch prog-rock band you'll find is Focus - and that's only if you're lucky. Confused

Anyway, it's good to find four 5-star albums in this latest batch of Prog Line albums. Thumbs Up

The Just a Try album is highly recommended too, if you'd like to Try it. Smile

Also picked up an original of Gracious !...and could be getting a Mighty Baby for $300....not sure if I want to spend that much.

^ Good Gracious! $300 is a Mighty amount to spend on just one album. Shocked The most I ever spent in one day on music was £122, but that was for 30 CD albums. Cool

I really like the sound of Sebastian Hardie - famous for being Australia's first Symphonic Prog band, and not a solo artist as I first thought.  Embarrassed

5 stars  1990: UTOPIAN FIELDS - White Pigeon, You Clean (Neo Prog • Norway) - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xMEIedZ8TC4&t=1s

An outstanding album of Utopian Neo Prog from the Norwegian fjords, which sounds like classic Symphonic Prog, and that's got to be a good thing. Thumbs Up

That Sebastian Hardie is one of my favorite obscure albums...really pleasant.
Gracious was only $30,,,but he wanted $400 for Mighty Baby...a NM copy on Head the UK label goes for that much ...I doubt if I'll get it for $300...but it would be an investment ..

^ I wouldn't pay as much as $30 for one album, which goes some way towards explaining why I only have a relatively small prog collection compared to yours. Smile
