The Jolly Reds are the same as my The Merry Jazz, ie. The Moody Blues.
Find, Destroy, Raise = SBB (which comes from the Polish words of the same meaning). Mephistopheles = Faust. Morlock refers to Wells' The War of the Worlds... Can't figure out the band. Here's one: Suunfield. (Easy, I guess.)

Wells is correct, but you've got the wrong novel. And you got Mephistopheles.

Morlock = Eloy Edited by I prophesy disaster - June 08 2021 at 05:20 |

No, I know how to behave in the restaurant now, I don't tear at the meat with my hands. If I've become a man of the world somehow, that's not necessarily to say I'm a worldly man.

Yep. From the novel "The Time Machine". The two races in the future are the lethargic and peaceful Eloy and the cannibalistic Morlocks.

Ah, Eloy, I really should have got it! (I was in a hurry 2 hours ago, even named the wrong novel.)
Suunfield, anyone?

When I young, "The Time Machine" (the 1960 film with Rod Taylor) was my favourite movie. |

I saw the movie as a kid, and the Morlocks gave me nightmares.

Yeah, they were pretty scary. And then there was that scene where he kills one of them just before travelling into the future. |

No. Notice 'uu'! It may look cryptic but it's quite logical when you get it. |

Mute feet was answered. I said clap you hands say yeah but apparently it was Talking Heads (which probably makes more sense). I doubt many people heard of cyhsy on here anyway. Lol.

I'm curious to see progress with the numerous unsolved ones. Maybe the most difficult ones need some hints?
So, let's start with my "Suunfield". The hint: take a person's name and mutate one letter. Now, if you know the band, it's very simple! |

King Crimson? I am thinking of Pete Sinfield; the "Suunfield" could be an allusion to "Moonchild".

Jean, Peter Sinfield is related to the person's name I'm after (and which needs to be transformed the same way to get the correct answer), whereas the band in question has not much* to do with King Crimson. I guess you don't know this band.
* One of their albums was actually produced by Ian McDonald. |
