The Walter Moers book ("The City of Dreaming Books") is, by the way, highly recommended to all lovers of fantasy. All books of Moers are located on the fictitious continent Zamonia. Moers has a weird and rich imagination; there are some very strange creatures on this continent. Many of his books have been translated into English.
