Shhh...the theme to this poll is a secret.  Your mission.  If you choose to proceed is to listen to these 25 songs and choose your three favorites.  Don't keep them a secret.  Share your favorites with the rest of us.

I have included a link to a YouTube list for those who prefer that method and have posted the videos below.

I was even able to include a band from the Zeuhl category this time.  Not too many of those in my collection and since I don't speak Kobaian not much chance of me knowing to include any Magma songs in a certain theme poll.

^^I'm not that familiar with Hawkwind outside of their couple "Classic" albums.  Those songs were pretty good though.

It’s remarkably even voting, with no clear winner. That said, for otherwise remarkably even voting, it’s interesting that there are still some options sitting with no votes. Where multiple voting is not allowed, I generally expect to see some options with no votes, but where it is allowed, usually every option manages to secure at least one vote. 🤔

I like the video to the Archaia song. It reminds me of the SF/horror movies of the 30s to 50s, for which Jean and I definitely have a weak spot.

It is interesting that there are 6 bands currently tied at 5 votes each.

I suppose that there is a lot of metal in this batch and all more modern bands so not many prog dinosaurs included in this one.

I listened to the entire playlist again today...and pretty much like everything on here. Some songs more than others but I am quite happy with this playlist.  Different strokes for different folks I guess.  At least it is better than talking about Pink Floyd yet again.....

There are now 10 bands tied at 5.  But we are still on the 1st page, so most people are keeping their votes a secret.  Really it won't kill anybody to talk about something other than a big 6 band...or well this site self-destruct if that happens.
