It's funny, but I don't remember mentioning I'm the only person in the entire world who likes ELP's Love Beach album. LOL

It's good to see another vote for the underrated Talk album, although it still has some way to go to climb The Ladder into the Top 7. Smile

I'll break the mold a little on my preferences ...

Close To The Edge
Tales From Topographic Oceans
Relayer
Fragile
The Yes Album
Drama
90125

... although there are days that Relayer would be on top, particularly Side 2.  Sound Chaser is just ... wow.

Understandably, TFTO gets a bad rap -- its lack of cohesion and meandering nature in segments being oft-cited.  For many years into adulthood I would have unhesitatingly identified it as not only the top Yes album, but my top album across the board.  It was really meaningful to me and swept me away as a teen in 1975.  Side 3 is just nonpareil.  It hasn't lost its lustre over the years so much as I recognize broader artistry and more polished craftsmanship.

Many vie for those last two spots, though.

90125 made the grade because reinvention.

I think Drama was more of a reinvention than 90125 - the latter just streamlined the Yesisms of the former to make them more palatable for the Flock of Seagulls and Duran Duran crowd.
I like to feel the suspense when you're certain you know I am there.....
