Differences are listed as a Neo Prog band here on PA, but there's A World of Difference between this band and a typical Neo Prog band. 
Differences sound better than any Neo Prog band I've ever heard, and that includes IQ. Smile

I saw exception live in Montreal and it was quite a treat. Cor Dekker's red Rickenbaker bass in particular but Van der Linden was quite the wizard . 
I never post anything anywhere without doing more than basic research, often in depth.

Out of the thirteen studio albums listed above, I'd recommend Ekseption '89, but as you say, they're even more Ekseptional Live. Thumbs Up

Yes, it's time now for some Symphonic Prog from a Dutch band called Finch (named after their founder and bass player Peter Fink - which is Dutch for "Finch"). in the first of three albums. There are obvious comparisons to be heard with another well-known British Symphonic Prog band, and Time and a Word will tell whether you like this band too. Smile
