Imagine a world without one of them: chocolate or ice cream. Which one's absence would be less painful?
No "chocolate ice cream" would exist if you choose the latter, of course. I'm a big chocolate fan, and have eaten bazillions of kinds of it, including foreign ones. But I stiil choose ice cream as it has no alternative IMO. C'mon, what can replace the cool sensation of eating an ice cream in summer? Tahin helvası (tahini halva) can easily compensate for the lack of chocolates for me (see the image below). |

The absence of both is perfectly fine by me... However, I can hardly imagine a honeyless life.

Exactly! I love chocolate ice cream cones, so I vote both, even though that's not a poll option.

^ you are certainly making a compelling case for chocolate!
but nevertheless, I'll vote ice cream. |

Not because they are Turkish "delights" (though we battle with the Greeks about baklava's origins), but because I really agree! |

Depends on the chocolate or the ice cream. But in general I'm quite a dark chocolate (70% and up) addict.

I'll take a milk chocolate but almost the same %-age (and only 21% in it) When I go for an ice cream, I'll take moke/coffee as my preferred taste, but dark bitter chocolate is my second..... but I'm more the fruit-sherbet type.

let's just stay above the moral melee
prefer the sink to the gutter keep our sand-castle virtues content to be a doer as well as a thinker, prefer lifting our pen rather than un-sheath our sword |

Chocolate. And if the ice cream isn't chocolate, I want no part of it.

I am fond of both but chocolate is king. Dark chocolate for me. Plain or with some extras, like cacao nibs. I always have specialty bars around. I do eat in moderation as I need to mind my calories. My current favorite ice cream is dark chocolate with peanut butter.

Keep the nuts away from the sweets as far as I'm concerned. I do like both peanuts and chocolate, but not together. |

No, I know how to behave in the restaurant now, I don't tear at the meat with my hands. If I've become a man of the world somehow, that's not necessarily to say I'm a worldly man.
