This is more of an observation than anything else. I'm wondering about the choice of cover on the album page for Moving Waves, aka Focus II, by Focus. 


Which I realise is the cover from the original Dutch release.

For me, and I suspect many prog fans the most familiar cover is the one from the UK & US releases.

No doubt it's because the release in the Netherlands was most likely the first out the gate. That's fair enough.

You're right about all of this. But explanations can be found in the Releases information:

LP Imperial - 5C 054-24385 (1971, Netherlands) Initial edition entitled "Focus II", later abandoned
LP Sire - SAS-7401 (1971, US) With new title "Moving Waves" and new cover art, both adopted from then on

Procol Harum "Shine on Brightly" the album cover shone on PA now is not the original cover as far as I know. I own the original version of the album (as far as I know).

The album cover on PA is the original UK cover. The US had a different cover. I suspect you have the original US cover?
