let's play a game of "guess the artist". you post a track anonymously, and people have to guess who the artist is. let's start with this:

have fun!

This is a very good idea for a game, I'm just terribly underknowledged for it. Embarrassed
Dig me...But don't...Bury me
I'm running still, I shall until, one day, I hope that I'll arrive
Warning: Listening to jazz excessively can cause a laxative effect.

Well I've never heard of either artist but I did enjoy the first one that BaldJean posted.

Hi,

The first one, I think is from the French Quarter. Guy Guden played this many times, and I STILL don't have that album!

Pierre Henri? Or Christian Boule (played with Clearlight)

The other one I can think of was the guitar player that ripped through a lot of Alan Stivell's stuff in the early years ... I really like it, and thought that "modernization" of the material was far out ... sadly, a lot of "traditionalists" don't like it ... but Pop Plinn without a screaming guitar .... goodness ... I want more!

Christian Boulé is correct. it is the track "Viva da New Sound" from his 1979 album "Non-Fiction". both of his solo albums (the first one is "Photo Musik"; yes, with a "k") are definitely worth listening to
