Love the Moodies. To our children's children's children is their best album IMO. The great run of 7 albums was incredible but I have to say I have a big soft spot for Long Distance Traveler.

30 years ago I purchased the first vynil of John Lodge thanks to the YES-like cover sleeve.
I never finished to listen to it. Maybe because I was expecting some YES-like music.
I stand with Roger Waters, I stand with Joan Baez, I stand with Victor Jara, I stand with Woody Guthrie. Music is revolution

The Moodies magnificent run of seven classic albums in a row are worthy of being passed down through the generations to our children's children's children - although they're probably more likely to prefer Rap/Hip Hop these days, sadly. Confused

On the first John Lodge solo album, weren't you expecting some Moody Blues-like music instead? Smile

I should, but in the 70s there was no internet and I didn't actually have a f@king idea of who John Lodge was.

Embedding is much more fun if there's two of you in the bed. Tongue
