OK, Skeletor is evil, but actually one of the "cool guys" for me. Plus, I'm an anarchist and I wouldn't be very happy to live in a place ruled by kings and all. Skeletor's reign? I can't be too sure, but I would envision him being a typical power-hungry ruler doomed to be corrupted and in the end dethroned; more than an evil tyrant torturing the folks forever. So Skeletor could be used to kick the Eternian royalty's ass out of the throne(s), and after crowned as the King Skeletor, he can be dethroned by the anarchists in my leadership. Believe me, it is much easier than beating He-Man.
Merlin? I'm not sure if he is a good or a neutral wizard; but evidently a nice guy with supreme abilities. A little bit boring though, don't you think? Anyway, if you're not interested in magicians; you can pick a place instead. |

I believe Merlin would beat virtually every spellcaster in the "Excalibur universe".
But, every fantasy wizard's powers should be considered valid in their own settings. Otherwise, some Forgotten Realms wizards would beat the hell out of other wizards, unless they ascended to godhood. Haha. Imagine encountering Larloch. Actually, you have to defeat some demiliches and many liches before even "confronting" him. Even Elminster cannot dare to attack him. I believe only deities could end his existence. Skeletor is also a powerful wizard, but his wits are rather impaired, which can be seen in critical decisions he makes. Try Nekron of "Fire and Ice". He is a far potent caster villain.
