Where I live is also being very inundated with snowstorms and I could do without it.

I was planning to engage in a musical activity over the weekend.

I think there were some delays here a few weeks ago.

^ For schools here it also depends on who is busing the students. In particular, if a district has its own school busses they're more likely to close for snow since its their asses on the line if an accident might occur.

I wish we shut down more here. I don't mind driving in it when traffic is light, but during rush hour I'm always concerned the guy that's on my tail is going to barrel right into me.

Yeah. Luckily right now I have no reason to drive in it so I pretty much have become a hermit over the past two weeks.
