It's that wacky Dershowitz again.

oh, come on, that's lame! go ahead and nominate Ted Cruz, Josh Hawley, Marjorie Taylor Greene and Lauren Boebert

and those are just registered members, of which there are about 35 million, so about 47% of those people who voted for Trump. and if they leave the party it can be assumed they won't vote for it anymore. but a much bigger number of voters who are not members of the party themselves will probably decide the same way, since it is much more likely not to vote for a certain party if you are not a member of this party: no more voting for the GOP!

so it looks as if what I predicted turns out to be right: the GOP is crumbling on both sides.

by the way: not kicking MTG out of the party for her wacko space-laser hypothesis will definitely not help them

you and Friede are good for laughs. Distancing themselves from Trump will not preclude them for voting Republican in every other race as they did in the last election where Dems lost seats in Congress.

It must burn the former Commander and Cheetos so bad that he never got his nod but his son-in-law and a black woman did. That's all I was alluding to.

yes, I know you were not kidding; I read the news myself. I was just making fun of it. or rather not; I actually wouldn't put it behind them Reps to really nominate Cruz, Hawley, Greene and Boebert for the Nobel Peace Prize. "they fought for a fair election; shouldn't that be worth the Nobel Peace Prize"?

Donald Trump was actually born on the same day as the day Friede and I first met, just 47 years earlier

I rather prefer thinking of Steffi Graf having been born on this day. she is about half a year younger than me

What I can't wait for is the Donald J. Trump Presidential Library.   Oh, yes.

I think Beatrix Potter's text is far too advanced for 45.

oh, a few new instant classics will be written especially for that library, like for example "The Big Capitol Run", "The Umbrella that Would not Close", "The Toilet that Would Flush Twenty Times" and the sequel "The Toilet Paper that Would Stick to the Shoe"
