I always thought that International Rescue Committee was Thunderbirds come to life. Sadly not, though. It’s that bunch of charity people headed up by David Milliband Wink

IRC means Internal Revenue Code in my world, and I reference it all the time.  Alas, I do not know what IRC you are referring to.

I’m willing to bet most people don’t even know what IRC is. There was a time when everyone used it, but that time is long passed.

(I am presuming, by the way, that you are talking about Internet Relay Chat, so if you’re not, then just ignore me!)

IRC equals internet relay chat if I'm not mistaken. I've never actually used it and haven't heard much about it in the past ten years actually.

I used mIRC and something else ages ago.   Freenode is said to be the most popular (for open source projects).
