Yes, I've done a split gig with them in 2018 and have played with the guitarist on several occasions. Cool jazz-rock quartet, although I'm not particularly into that kind of music (anymore). But very impressive stuff!

I did a mistake here. It's DAVID Wallumrød on Hammond, Clavinet etc., not Christian Wallumrød, who is his cousin.

It's absolutely superb. I love the "down to earth"-vibe of both the songs and the instrumentation and production.

Oh man, I gotta be honest, I really didn't enjoy that Jordsjo single :(
I like most the music I listen to and I really wanted to love this thing, but I think it sounds a little samey to their past works. It's a little schizophrenic with its structure, transitions, and it never really properly developed any of the ideas before moving onto the next thing. I also felt that it was just lacking in the melody department. I didn't like their last album as much as Jord, but yeah, I really hope the rest of the album is better :/

Favorite of 2021...so far. The guitarist from Oak ventures out on his own...with the help of three members of Wobbler and several other folks. |

I think the title track is amazing and a real gem of a song, but the rest of the album was not that interesting (to me).
