A family of squirrels are in their den in a tree. Papa squirrel sticks his head out the knothole entrance to the den and sniffs the air.
"I smell something sweet...I think its honey.
Momma squirrel jams her head through next to papa and says, "I smell it too. But I think its maple syrup."
Baby squirrel can't get his head through the knothole past momma and poppa and shouts, "All I smell is squirrel asses!"

It may have been moles.
