yesterday I paid 21€ for severely undercooked spareribs and a fully stuffed tray of bland, soggy potato chips with no sauce included for either from one of two places in the entire city of Antwerp of half a million people that was willing to deliver me spareribs at all at regular dinner time
maybe I should just move back to the Netherlands

I fell for that Antwerp, Belgium scam once.  Something to do with gems.  When I got there, it turned out to be Aunt Werp-Belgium and her costume jewelry.

well we do kill a lot of cows per capita, and also in Groningen I knew at least three restaurants with 'spareribs' in the name and they were damn tasty every time!
