If you're not familiar (I think dr wu23 is likely to be), one of my all-time favourite people, who was a big influence on Bevis Frond, is Tom Rapp (and Pearls Before Swine). "For The Dead In Space" was a tribute CD for Tom, including "Lepers and Roses," performed by Bevis Frond, with many other artists.

List of Studio Albums, I find something to enjoy on all of them, with the exception of "Familiar Songs," which are just re-worked and arranged songs from previous recordings. knock-down favourites have asterisks:

He does delve into some more typical electric psych as well, more in "One Nation Underground," and "Balaklava," also the "Shoebox Symphony," on his "Journal of the Plague Year," recording is funny, as well as electric. The first two are much more raw, overall, than later recordings. The song, "(Oh Dear) Miss Morse," was banned from radio, once they realized what he was spelling in Morse code, that one is on "One Nation Underground." Those first two recordings are on ESP, which also recorded The Fugs and The Holy Modal Rounders. Interesting days, those.
