HI, as you know singing is like a language, a body language.

what can you do if you don’t have a good voice but want to sing?
How can you improve your singing voice?
What are the best singing tips out there?
What should you focus on when you practice singing?

Personally I don't think my voice can be improved on (although others may disagree) but if I wanted to do so, I would go to a vocal coach. As that's not going to be possible for a month, maybe there are videos on YouTube that could help?

Always a good sleep, always a healthy diet, always avoiding extreme straining of the muscles, always keeping in mind that mastering some techniques takes time and effort. Also considering that some singing techniques might be impossible because of your anatomical limits, age that you begin singing/training etc.

Other than these pivotal "must"s, it hugely depends...

I'd personally advise working with a vocal coach, though. Or else, reading some academical stuff and using some professional materials, like audios or videos where some experts give advices and/or provide the "eager" with tips, exercises  etc.

agreed with you sir,
if you can't improve your voice quality , you have plenty of other things to look for.
i think at beginners level every one must launch a sound recording app on your computer or smartphone. then, adjust the audio input setting so that it records a pure, unaltered version or your voice. Practice singing to various songs and recording the outcome. Try karaoke as well there are songs out there that fit your vocal range and style.

^ One should be careful about use of the diaphragm. I'd personally advise breathing from the diaphragm and improving the muscles thereof ONLY for singing purposes. Aside from that, one had better breathe as s/he does normally.

supporting notes with the diaphragm is what every classically trained singer is being taught

^ Yes. I meant, you do exercises to improve your diaphragm. I advise that one had better breathe normally aside from that purpose. Some people are obsessed with breathing from the diaphragm and try to do it all the time. It should be avoided methinks.
