Two giants in database history, two of the best servers of information on media (at least in the past). I was an All movie/music (and game when that ecisted) junkie before i found Progarchives. Before that AllMovie served as a great place to find info on music and media. I have found lots of music and movies through it. IMdB is one of the oldest databases whom is stil arround. It is an icon of longevity and service, it is a solid place of media that stil has its relevance.

https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/RhythmOne
https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/AllMovie Interestingly All Music Guide is founded in 1991 a year after IMdB and both pages are stil going, i like longevity when it is stable and yet keeps the quality up. All Movie is the sister page of All Music Guide Edited by Icarium - November 02 2020 at 11:43 |

I use Imdb.
If the pairing was imdb vs rotten tomatoes perhaps the outcome of this poll would be closer (I believe imdb would also win though) |

IMDb. Though I had to learn that there are lots of awesome movies with low or average ratings there. Most of my horror favourites get scores around 5, for instance.

Hi,
Never used the AMD at all ... in fact I was not even aware of it! Been using IMDB for at least 25 years, I think, and would have become a "member" if I could afford it but their membership is very expensive, and I'm not an industry professional per se, but it would validate my reviews a lot, although several films show my reviews on them. I am considering adding my name, though, since a lot of the films I have reviews from are not exactly the top ten (I don't do top ten!), and could use a little help, specially when a few of these films get a poor "non-review" (meaning the person writing did not watch the whole thing!!!!!). Not sure about AMD and will check it out!

Music is not just for listening ... it is for LIVING ... you got to feel it to know what's it about! Not being told!
