The former James Bond movie star and sex symbol passed away at 90. The end of an era for 60s movie stars, I'm afraid.

Terribly sad. He was always the best thing in whatever he did.

RIP

RIP. IMO his best role was Indiana Jones's dad in The Last Crusade.

I thought he was terribly miscast in my favorite fantasy movie of all time Highlander, but I can't imagine the movie without him. He was always iconic.

I haven't seen Highlander, but I thought Sean Connery was well-cast in Zardoz, despite struggling to shake off his James Bond persona. Smile

He was very memorably cast as the Russian submarine commander in The Hunt For Red October , probably my favourite film with him in it.
Also provided a great turn in the Terry Gilliam fantasy film Time Bandits.

One of the true greats. RIP.
