I'm not sure what Laz is referring to. If he caught the gag reel of Joe's gaffs going back to the Obama years or listened to too many right wing portrayals of Joe, then his perception might be colored the way a Trump supporter's is. And I doubt that Laz watched the entire debate. Biden has Trump on the ropes now. He didn't do that by sleeping through or stumbling through the debate.
For sure, it wasn't the destruction he administered to Paul Ryan. He is a far cry now from THAT Biden. But he landed a few folksy lines that got under Trump's skin. The one I liked most was "under him, China has learnt the art of the steal".

Just heard the news of hospitalisation on BBC news. They inferred it must be serious to be taken to Walter Reed, given he has an army of medics at The White House. Eerily like Johnson’s story, except a lot quicker.
Oh well, he is a human being, no matter how people perceive him. Let’s hope for a full recovery.
I did, btw, think that Biden looked dreadful today. Tested negative, yes, but he was walking like a very old and unsteady man.
You lot really do not have a particularly pleasant choice this year
idk man, he was videoed riding a bicycle a month back. He is VERY old but doesn't strike me as unsteady, not physically. And nor mentally, not in the way the MAGA idiots make it out.

First woman President, Nancy Pelosi? Pence tested negative, but it could happen. Just saying. I do echo SteveG about voting them out rather than carrying them out. But the mere potential for it is remarkable. 2020 still never fails to surprise.

Trump is on his way to Walter Reed Medical Center. He was already given an experimental drug to boost his imunity. Wtf?
Two words that should not go together, 'experimental' and 'drug'. And yes, voted out, not carried out. I don't wish his demise on him or those who care for him, but if he dies, we will drown in crazy conspiracy theories.

I used to know a jazz guitar player from Queens that had that exact same personality, a lot of bragging and opinions, chip on the shoulder etc. Philly guys can be like that too, but not as combative.

I can't sit back and take it easy, this guy really bugs me. I think its almost more a personality thing than a political thing, but politically he is a dangerous loose canon, so that just adds to it. I didn't like his stupid tv show either, what kind of punch-line is "you're fired", the show was insulting, I never watched it, but still hated it. On a morality level casinos are one step above whore houses and crack houses. I used to perform at casinos, a few people come there for fun, but the majority are people with multiple addictions.

Re David and Steve; You are right, I will not change any hardcore trumpateers, they don't care about traditional conservative values anyway. I'm just trying to reach your classic humble. polite. considerate southerner with the traditional conservative values that trump lacks, and there are still a lot of those people around here.
From my experience on the social sites around here, if you challenge trump from a knowledgeable conservative viewpoint, trumpateers tend to back off quickly. Did I change anyone's mind, maybe not, but lets just say that fights aren't won by giving up too easily. I really don't want this guy re-elected and I am doing what I can to make sure he doesn't.

I definitely give Easy Money props and wish him luck but I can't see an extreme case like Ompha changing her tune after saying that Trump was the best thing that ever happened to this country. People like this never want to admit that they're wrong or made a mistake. The simplest thing that a person can do. But I suppose it's worth a try.
