Hmmm... what did you think of that one?

Haha I've loved that one for a long time, every track goes hard in some kind of way. Their mixtapes are cool too btw, but way weirder, almost impossible to describe with common genre tags...

I believe that our honoree Antoine (Febus) might approve of this album.

Good to hear, it's a bit ramshackle but I really like their stuff too and it seems it proved fairly influential as well.

Unikorn On the Cob

For fans of Echolyn, this album was produced by Brett Kull, and features Jonn Buzby of Finneus Gauge.  Christopher Buzby is a member of Echolyn, so I assume that Jonn is a brother?  Looking at bandcamp it looks like he also has a new act called Damn Fine Coffee.  Has anyone checked that out?  New release on 9/4/2020.

People say it sounds cheap but I don't really agree, there's a lot of clever layering and the distortion and dissonance seem to be carefully applied. And I don't really think that most of what it influenced sounds more refined or professional really.
