    Posted: July 11 2020 at 20:03
The Interactive Polls were started by jamesbaldwin (Lorenzo) as way to get members involved in suggesting some music of all different genres. A very excellent idea.

Here are links (with all credit to Greg (Logan) for getting the links) to past Interactive polls, as well as to YouTube playlists of the music nominated in the polls. (Note: some playlists are still to to come.)

Beautiful work.
Amos Goldberg (professor of Genocide Studies at the Hebrew University in Jerusalem): Yes, it's genocide. It's so difficult and painful to admit it, but we can no longer avoid this conclusion.

Great!

Thank you for the links & playlists..  now revisiting the Latin poll in which I participated and rereading the entries while I hear the playlist…  those were good times!  Tongue

And great music!  it made for a very interesting mix of styles..  the tension and dramatism of the tangos with the coolness and lay back -ness of the brazilian bossa nova jazz for example (throw in the "PA' stuff", as I called it, and the Andean stuff).

Think I still haven't completed the out-of-competition round..

Now hearing Stan Getz & J. Gilberto..  particularly good for 1:00 AM   Clap

Nice, I love Kombucha with ginger. Love to try yours, mine is not homebrewed, but instead is Brew Dr Kombucha which I buy from Costco. And thanks for mentioning me in your initial post. The links were easy, except that I have to manually tag due to code injection problems, but it's the playlists that were really inspired and would take more time to put together.

I'd like to see playlists for the alternates, and might like to do that at some time if you don't mind. Been a long time since I have had a usable account at youtube. I used to upload videos, but then couldn't access my account.

I would buy from Costco too but where I am at, they don't carry Brew Dr. They used to carry GT brand Gingerade but now carry the Kirkland Lemon Ginger. The GT brand was strong on the ginger and the Kirkland is milder.

We don't get lots of good Kirkland stuff here in Canada that I can get in the US, including Kirkland Craft Beer, which while not the best, is very good for the price. Here grocery stores do not sell alcohol, we have to buy it from gov't licensed liquor stores. And I love going down to the states (Washington State) to buy great local craft Root Beer (so good, if it was more available I don't know that I'd bother with beer beer -- well, Ireland was awesome for beers).

First post updated to current poll. Note that all the Interactive Polls are listed. Some of us just don't know how to number correctly. They are listed in order of first appearance.

Anyone can join in at any time. We start a new one once every one to two weeks. So, if you haven't participated before, you are welcome. You can come back if you haven't participated in a while.
