It's sad that the mask wearing is now frowned upon by some people as infringing on their "constitutional" rights. Very sad.Ermm

Texas, California and Florida have had record breaking Covid cases reported in the last 48 hours with CA having a daily total of 7000 (yes 7000) cases reported in one (yes one) day. The EU is discussing plans to ban flights into Europe form the US. Perhaps that will stop Trump from constantly down playing the virus. Or perhaps not.

The Trump administration will submit a Supreme Court brief on Thursday backing a lawsuit that would completely invalidate the Affordable Care Act.

In the middle of a pandemic. With over 120,000 dead and hundreds of thousands hospitalized. Trump is trying to cut off healthcare for 23 million Americans. With no back up plan and no support for people with preexisting conditions.

By the way, the ACA also requires all health plans including individual and employer plans to provide coverage for dependent children until they reach the age of 26. If your child is in college like mine is, and you get coverage through your employer, that gets eliminated if Trump gets his way. The c*ck-sucker-in-chief can go to hell, and the imbeciles that support him can all get in line behind him. You support this charlatan, you can go suck covid and kick.

Sounds scary, but I'm beginning to get the impression that both the supreme court and the military know this guy is nuts. I'm hoping for the best, I don't think Justice Roberts has much respect for t-rump.
If it happens, this would be a phenomenal disaster.

I'm beginning to get the impression trump is really losing it mentally. Killing the ACA might have helped his popularity about 4 years ago, but I don't think it would go over to well now.

What’s weird is the lack of public service announcements. Here, the governor has altered course on the reopening, which is a positive step, but the prior back and forth on masks had left people confused, which was exacerbated by politicized interpretations. One thing we need is clear and bold leadership and a campaign of PSA from the governor himself to get folks back on track. My family back in the Motherland are saying many people there aren’t listening either Article. The problem is at the seaside people in the villages are often trying to be careful, but they are being inundated with visitors who seem to think they’ve gotten the all-clear, or that they’re in a low risk category so the mentality is why worry? The problem is that they then go on to infect family members, friends, and bystanders who may end up in hospital Article. And be careful buying any PPE online, because there are a lot of scams going on. Make sure you’re buying from a reputable vendor. Article. The worst offenders are those who are substituting ethanol with methanol (a hazardous chemical). There is a special place in hell reserved for these people.

Uh, yeah.   Surprised it's taken this long.

Yepper! It’s like DEFCON 3, but for health. And, to exacerbate respiratory issues, we’ve also got 800 million tons of sand dust headed our way.

Dust you say? Well then...perhaps, just perhaps, wearing a mask would mitigate not only the virus but allow one to breath in a dust storm. Just a thought.

That would require what used to be called “common sense”, unfortunately.

Another definition might be keeping an open mind, but not so open that your brain falls out. Here, people should be wearing masks and practicing social distancing in my opinion.
