Got off to a really slow start. Then it eventually hit a stretch that did remind me a lot of MDK(was really good obviously). Then it hit a stretch that sounded pretty dark, was good though. 

Still their first 3 studio albums are my favorites. I also really enjoy Udu Wudu and Attahk.. but somehow they lack the POWER of those first 3 albums(for me). Also I like Felicite Thosz.
Try K.A also. Maybe it  hasn´t got the same power as their first albums too (naturally they were young and full of power then), but it´s just so bright & spiritual piece! And after that is natural listen Emehntehtt-Re also.

2 thunder Tuesday´s albums:
Mississippi Fred McDowell: In London Vol.1
Listened this again. Fred got so great south US accent that I don´t understand everything he´s talking in the middle of songs. But he´s voice is so calming. And in the songs so full of emotions! And he´s slide playing is really personal & great!

Samla Mammas Manna: Måltid
As in every seventies RIO/Avant group albums, you can hear Zappa influences here. But they´re also quite personal specially in this album, I really love kind of "late evening atmosphere" in many pieces. I believe falsetto singing and their very Swedish humor will irritate many, but I think they´re fascinating (although I am Finn). My fav piece is Oförutsedd Förlosning, there they really not sing Swedish, more it´s some nonsense English. Have to also mention their great musicianship, I believe any member could have played in Zappa´s band. To me this is much more Nordic Pride than Abba, when talking great Swedish bands. Absolutely their best album!

Yeah that was very good. K.A I sounded the most like MDK I thought, but more energetic. K.A II was good also but a little repetitive. K.A III sounded the most proggy, and I liked it the best. All in all very good listening experience, I even liked it a little better than the one last night, but still not as much as those monster first 3.

They're becoming one of my very favorite bands, but tough to crack into the top 5 right now.

Not bad, but I loved much more Måltid! I think the one I like the most after Måltid is "För Äldre Nybegynnare" under name Zamla Mammaz Manna.

2 hot Wednesdays´s albums:
Kevin Ayers And the Whole World: Shooting At the Moon
I´ve got that picture this album is not as respect among the proglisteners as his first "Joy Of a Toy". I can understand it, avantgardepieces (Reinhardt & Geraldine, Pisser Dans Un Violon, Underwater), almost proto-punk pieces (Colores Para Dolores, Lunatics Lament & title piece), cheerful pop pieces (the Oyster & the Flying Fish, Clarence in Wonderand) and beatiful ballads (May I, Red Green and You Blue) are just too weird combination to many. But to me this and his other four first albums are masterpieces! Have to also mention there is some Mike Oldfield in bass, really before his success. This album is also from 1970, I have listened recently quite many great albums from that year, so you can say it was musically great year!

J.J. Cale: Number 10
In this album there are no "real" drums, only Jim Karstein playing percussions in "Shady Grove" which is one the greatest pieces. Instead J J used very digital sounding drum machine, also there are very little other musicians, so almost everything is made with machines, even J J vocals sounds many pieces quite metallic. I am glad there are his great bluesy guitars. This really is Cale´s most clean sounding album and maybe that reason the weakest, but sure not bad album.

Yes I'm very sure. And that's not any knock against T. Rex whatsoever, they're(he's) still ahead of A LOT of artists that I really, really like... like Queen, Kiss, Caravan, Magma, Yes, Genesis, Gentle Giant, Radio Head, Can, Gong, Henry Cow, Journey, Foreigner, ABBA, Jethro Tull, The Moody Blues, Saga, Barclay James Harvest, Humble Pie, Spooky Tooth, Krokodl.. and on and on and on.

Good album obviously from a great band. 

Feels Like the First Time - One of their absolute classics! Great song. 
Cold as Ice - Another huge Foreigner classic. 
Starrider - Very cool song. 
Headknocker - Fairly well known Foreigner track. 
The Damage Is Done - Slow start but ends up being a pretty good song. 
Long, Long Way from Home - Best song on the album and one of their absolute best songs overall. 
Woman Oh Woman - Fillerish but not bad.
At War with the World - Cool tune. 
Fool for You Anyway - Slower but good. 
I Need You - Reasonably good song, good guitar solo

As big Zappa fan I believe you will at least like it, maybe not go over Abba for you.

3 Thursday albums (still hot):
J J Cale: Roll On
Cale made really good album as the last one during his lifetime! All the way this is lot better than yesterday´s album, specially when this has so organic sounds. From two very jazzy songs in the beginning Cale goes through all his styles. No idea has Cale decided this would be his last album, but the last piece "Bring Down the Curtain" really is felicitous ending into this album and his career. Other my faves in this are "Who Knew", "Where the Sun Don´t Shine", "Strange Days", "Fonda Lina"  & "Old Friend".

Nina Simone: Wild Is the Wind
Listen this again, now first time in vinyl. This is just so incredible album! "Four Women", "Lilac Wine", "Break Down and Let It All Out", title song, "Black Is the Colour Of My True Love´s Hair", "If I Should Lose You" & "Either Way I Lose" are just genius pieces! Don´t know has anyone else ever gone as deep in the sadness! And even rest are more ordinary pieces, Nina put in her vocals 100% also in them! There are many personally singing women that express themselves in a very great way, but nobody´s like Nina!

The Move: Shazam
First time listened this album. This is really much better than their first album! Jeff Lynne wasn´t yet member when this came. To my big surprise this is lot more proggy than I thought, specially two long pieces "Cherry Blossom Clinic Revisited" and ten minutes version of Ars Nova´s "Fields Of People". But best track after first listening is their version of Tom Paxton´s "Last Thing On My Mind". Another thing that surprises me is how good sounds in this album has, quite heavy! "Don´t Make My Baby Blue" reminds little bit Black Sabbath of that time. I don´t believe the Move will become ever my biggest faves, but all the way I already like it much more than E.L.O. and going to listen also their last two albums.

As big Zappa fan I believe you will at least like it, maybe not go over Abba for you.

Yeah I legitimately like ABBA a lot, so I really doubt they'd go over them for me.

That sounded tremendous! I know people will come screening that A Night at the Opera and Queen II are 1,000,000 times better, and they absolutely ARE both great albums. I love Sheer Heart Attack and News of the World myself.. But this one will always be special to me because it was from the time when I first started really getting into music. 

Play The Game - Great Queen track. 
Dragon Attack - That Bass! Just ATTACKING with it in this one. 
Another One Bites the Dust - One of their best and most well known songs. 
Need Your Loving Tonight - Rockin tune!  Loved this one as a kid! 
Crazy Little Thing Called Love - Another huge classic. Great song. 
Rock It(Prime Jive) - Jammin out so hard to this one!!
Don't Try Suicide - Only song on the whole album close to being weak. 
Sail Away Sweet Sister - Really nice song by Brian to the sister he never had. 
Coming Soon - Somewhat cheesy sounding but I love it. 
Save Me - Powerful ending to a truly great album!

I just reviewed my first album on here(as afkc) which is the single factor by Camel. It's a bit poppy and a later one so it's mostly a nostalgia thing for me but it's good for what it is. Those who like later Alan Parson's Project might want to check it out.
