Greetings Hamerheads:  Update: Alex has encountered an unexpected internet outage, so Matt Brown will be taking his place tonight. I'm sure Alex will play Tom another time. :)

From the Department of Unexpected Resurgence of Music from the Red Planet Department:  I was just informed this morning that Alex Cruzeta is planning on playing music of Tom's during his weekly Monday Chemistry Sets show on Deep Nuggets today, 1 June.  The show airs from 5PM - 9PM PDT.  Please tune in if you can.  Link to Deep Nuggets:  http://deepnuggets.com/

In other news, on 29 May, Friday Night Progressive aired two repeated shows as Ron Marquiss is deep in preparing for the 9th Anniversary show on this Friday, 5 June.  On the first show repeat, the entire Bookwife Suite was heard once again, to lovely comments in the chat room.  I will be sending out another of these with more info on that show in a few days, it promises to be a lot of fun, great music along with giveaways. The show must be part hobbit, giving away presents on it's birthday.  Link to Friday Night Progressive: http://fridaynightprogressive.com/home/

On 30 May, Larne Peters surprise-aired Sloppy Love At Bodie Flats on his Larne's Finest show on Prog Alley, out of Germany, during his Midnight Hour highlight, an opportunity to sit back, close your eyes and just listen.  Link to Prog Alley:  http://progalley.eu/

Also on 30 May, Tom's music was debuted on the very varied WTAU Pea Ridge Nation show, presented by Mike Sherrill on Spreaker.  Mike just happened to catch a post of Tom's music, one thing led to another, and he has indicated that Tom will be on regular rotation on his show.  He chose A Slight Overture of Sorts to introduce Tom to his audience.  This show is both available at Spreaker and also as a live feed on Vaughn, link to Vaughn follows the link to the Spreaker location:  https://www.spreaker.com/show/the_weff_pea_ridge_nation_show

https://vaughn.live/wtaupearidgenation

Again, still there'll be more this week, so expect to be seeing another of these cross your path.  Everyone stay safe and I hope to see some of you on the show chats etc.  Thank you for listening, as always.

Attention Hamerheads:

From the Department of Unusual Activity Detected In Order of Appearance Department:

There was a special show in honour of Friday Night Progressive's 9th Anniversary, on 5 June.  Ron Marquiss has presented this show for 9 years and along with playing some of Tom's music, there will be a giveaway of the 3 CD's as well as other fine progressive music downloads, CD's and even a rare DVD.  Please come along and say hello in the chat if you get a chance, show begins at 6PM PDT, usually a 2-hour show, but may run overtime under the circumstances.  Link to Friday Night Progressive:  http://fridaynightprogressive.com/home/

On Saturday, 6 June, Bandcamp added Tom to their opening page banner, "New and Notable."  I'd sent them an email briefly (ha! I know what you're thinking) telling them about Tom, after noticing that they suggested doing this for an unusual story connected with an artist.  A member of their staff contacted me with the notification that they were doing this feature.  Curious to see what they do, it will be short and sweet, but nice to get the coverage.  Link to Bandcamp:  https://bandcamp.com/

Thirdly, Tom's music will debut on yet another show on Spreaker, this time on Anita Bhatia Higgins' resurrected Melo's Bizarre Bazaar, today, Sunday, 7 June.  She's been back after a hiatus, her show is live every Sunday, from 11AM - 1PM PDT.  Link to Melo's Bizarre Bazaar:  https://www.spreaker.com/show/melos-bizarre-bazaar

And that, as they say, is all folks!  Cue up the Looney Tunes theme song and spread the word on these shows. As always, my grateful thanks to all of you for listening and spreading the word.

They chose to feature A Bookwife's Dream of Her Own Imposter ~Dedication as the intro to his music and wrote a nice blurb to accompany it.  Photo follows of the page:

Attention Hamerheads:

From the Department of June Was Busy Despite Few Missives From Mars Department:

A remarkably moving review of "Burnt Peas/The Tolling of St John's Bells," by Stephen Conway in Progressive Rock Fanatics was published on 20 June.  Link to Stephen's review:  https://progressiverockfanatics.wordpress.com/2020/06/20/love-nor-song-ever-ends/?fbclid=IwAR1Qgm6xsCZ_mo-cgmiVhXRsDfVWSxToPJBpm_FPsFw-1UaHzHvQPQjkxs4

Also announcing that Kev Rowland's reviews of all 3 of the CD's was just released in a hard copy format by Amplified, which is a fanzine that Kev actually created under the name of "Feedback," which he ran for 16 years.  It is the newsletter of Mensa's Rock Music Special Interest Group in the UK, now run by Phil Roach. Two of the CD covers were also chosen for the back cover of the Fanzine.  Link to Kev's reviews here on PA are at the end of this post.

Airplay for the month was also pretty steady, beginning with Friday Night Progressive on 5 June.  Ron Marquis selected the entire Wayfarer Suite to play for their 9th birthday party and giveaway.  I chose to donate a set of the CD's to the cause and Ian Carrs (aka The Prog Snob), felt them worth vying for and won the set.  Link to Friday Night Progressive:  http://fridaynightprogressive.com/home/

Also worthy of special appreciation has been Mike Sherrill, who hosts WTAU Pea Ridge Nation on Spreaker.  His show is very varied (there may be cookie monster vocals), mostly independent releases.  He has been championing Tom with playing something every week this month since he debuted the music there on 30 May, playing "A Slight Overture of Sorts."  "Cows Appear Out of Nowhere," "Burnt Peas, Pt 3," "The Keys," and last night, "East Fork," all have been on the show as of this point.  Link to WTAU Pea Ridge Nation:  https://www.spreaker.com/show/the_weff_pea_ridge_nation_show

Anita of Melo's Bizarre Bazaar on Spreaker revived her show for a few weeks, although is again taking a hiatus.  On 7 June she chose to present the entire "Burnt Peas Suite," which Paul of Aquarian Moons, also on Spreaker, hosted for her.  Link to Melo's show:  https://www.spreaker.com/show/melos-bizarre-bazaar

Alex Cruzeta of The Monday Chemistry Sets on Deep Nuggets was going to play a tune of Tom's on 1 June, that show was preempted by an internet outage.  He returned the following Monday and chose the title track, "Spinning Through Eternity," of that recording...."8 minutes of pure bliss," as he described it whilst back-announcing the music.  Link to Deep Nuggets:http://deepnuggets.com/

Aural Moon also has Tom's music in rotation, just yesterday (27 June), "God and the Flatlanders, Waltz Version," was played.  It seems to me that about every 3 days, once the first selection hits, another one does, until all three CD's are represented.  You can also request music at Aural Moon, if you join, at no cost to you.  Link to Aural Moon:  http://auralmoon.com//

Altogether a remarkable month.

I thank everyone for still listening, for the input I get from you and for your keeping the word out re Tom's music.

Nickie, a few days ago I bookmarked Tom's Bandcamp page, and listened to Burnt Peas. Though these days I find it hard to concentrate on music (unless it's something I already know), I fully intend to listen to all the albums there. I am just sorry I don't write reviews any longer, but at least I can show my appreciation by listeningSmile.

That is so sweet of you, Raff.  I have done what I most wanted to do, which is get his music heard.  And being truly listened to by you means so much to me, as I know you do this only because you wanted to.  There is no higher appreciation than that.  Heart

I can't remember if I set a limit on listens on there, but he is also on Spotify and YouTube, where you can listen any time for free, so if you go in and are unable to play again if you'd wanted to, I know you can listen at will at those places.

Thank you for your ears and for letting me know.

Attention Hamerheads:
From The Department of Repeat Show Ahead Department:

♪♪♪ We have all been here before, we have all been here before ♪♪♪

In sitting in chat on Stuffer White's Light Without Heat Show last Sunday, he casually mentioned that this Sunday's show will be a repeat and that Tom's music will be on this one.  Stuffer's show has a dedicated following, the chat is usually full of friendly people and it's a really nice way to ride out the weekend.  The music tends to be upbeat and ear-catching and the host gets to hang out with the chatters a bit more than when he does live shows.  That all being said, this show will be on Sunday, 26 July, from 4PM to 7PM PDT.  Link to Light Without Heat: https://www.spreaker.com/show/light_without_heat

In other news, the Friday Night Progressive IPA shows have begun, last night was Fusion night and there were some great surprises there.  Tom's representation piece won't be until the Composers show, but it's highly recommended to stop on by and see what's been selected, your ears won't be disappointed.  The Instrumental nominees will be played this coming Friday, 31 July from 6PM to 8PM PDT.  Link to Friday Night Progressive: http://fridaynightprogressive.com/home/

And special mention goes out to David Harrer, who created a CD mix of instrumental music that he shared with me that included a piece by that Tom Kelly guy. David has past been a radio show host in Ashland, OR and, possibly other places.  Lots of other great music on it as well, he knows how to put a show together.  I thank him here for including The Burnt Peas Finale on this CD.  Other artists were Guranfoe; Rikard Sjoblom’s Gungfly; Jouis; Steam Theory; Colin Edwin & Robert Jerjendal; Aaron Parks and Little, Big; Silent Island; Junkboy; Bruce Cockburn; Elkhorn and Bill Frisell.  Fine company, indeed.

That's all for now, folks!  Will keep everyone updated when there is further news.  Again, thank you to all for listening and continuing to spread the word.

Attention Hamerheads!

Appearances From Out Of Nowhere  From the Department of I Am Happily Amazed At Continuing Airplay Department:

One of the most steadfast champions of Tom's music, Alex Cruzeta, has sent me notice that a Tom Kelly track will be played on The Monday Chemistry Sets show on Deep Nuggets, tomorrow, Monday 10 August.  The Prog Hour is usually the 2nd hour in, show runs from 5PM - 9PM PDT.  Alex is a lot of fun to listen to, he plays a wide array of music and his show is always live.  Link to Deep Nuggets: http://deepnuggets.com/

In other news, Stuffer White replayed his Light Without Heat show from a year prior on 26 July, which included Nothing Ends, Nothing Begins.  Stuffer's shows do stay up as a podcast on Spreaker (this one was dated 28 July, 2019), here is a link to Light Without Heat:  https://www.spreaker.com/show/light_without_heat

Another continuing champion of Tom's, Mike Sherrill, has been playing one of Tom's songs every week on his show, since he discovered his music.  This past few weeks, he has playing Staring It In The Face, West Fork and God and the Flatlanders (Acoustic Celtic version).  His show, W.T.A.U. Pea Ridge Nation, is also available as a podcast on Spreaker, the show dates mentioned here were 25 July, 1 August and 8 August.  Link follows:  https://www.spreaker.com/show/the_weff_pea_ridge_nation_show

I've continued to have digital downloads, a fair amount of streaming play and even sold another CD to a guy in London who bought Spinning Through Eternity a month ago and now has added Burnt Peas to his collection.  Many thanks to all who keep listening, we are getting really close to the second year anniversary of the releases.  It is amazing that so many keep playing his music.  I think he would be pleased.

Greetings Hamerheads:    ooooooooooeeeeeeeeeooooooooo

From the Department of Kind of Mind-Blowing Eerie Coincidences Department, this happened today, of all days.  This is the 3rd anniversary of Tom's death.  Take note of the song they chose and also the ad....

I'd been in contact with this station and had had some technical trouble getting them Tom's music and finally was able to on my third try, with some direction from the Station Owner, who I suspected might have lost patience with me and the project.  I got the music to him about 2 weeks ago and hadn't heard anything, other than "they would get back to me."

Today, at around 1:30PM, I left a show that I often listen to on Tuesdays, which was just ending and thought I'd check in on the station's Progressive show.  Note the tune and also the ad.  There is a little further news, though, in that I messaged the Station Owner to thank him for the add and he said that he'd be uploading two more of Tom's songs to get them into rotation this week.

BWNR airs their progressive show Monday - Friday 1PM - 2PM PDT, if you'd like to listen and find out what other pieces they have chosen to play.  Here is a link to their site:    https://thebandwagonnetwork.net/

Lots of other Indie Progressive artists are also being played here of course, I heard some that I haven't heard in other places and I make the rounds of those shows frequently.

Thank you to those who continue to listen and those who have helped me promote Tom's music along the way.

Attention Hamerheads!

From the Department of Resurrections, Coffee, Tea and Music Department:  Once again, Alex Cruzeta is going to be playing something of Tom's in his memory, on his Monday Chemistry Sets show on Deep Nuggets today, 21 September.  The Prog Hour is usually the second hour in.  Show runs from 5PM - 9PM PDT.  Link to Deep Nuggets:  http://deepnuggets.com/

In other news since the last Martian Mail, Alex also played "Sloppy Love At Bodie Flats," on 10 August and Mike Sherrill at W.T.A.U. Pea Ridge Nation has steadily played a track of Tom's every week since 15 August (with the exception of last week, when he was on vacation).  He's played "The Tolling of St. John's Bells," "The Keys," "Travels, Part 3," "Ma and Pa Kettle Go To Hell," and "West Fork."  He has a very varied show, from folks like Tom to shredders and even bluegrass from time to time.  Link to Deep Nuggets:  http://deepnuggets.com/

Lastly, as previously reported, Bandwagon Network Radio has added "Sloppy Love At Bodie Flats," "A Slight Overture of Sorts," and "Spinning Through Eternity," to their Progressively Indie show, which airs Monday through Friday, 1PM - 2PM PDT.  It is now in regular rotation on that show.  Link to BWNR:  https://thebandwagonnetwork.net/

A bit of levity since we all could use a laugh, this morning I was inspired to have Mr TJeans help with the coffee prep.  For those few who don't know the link to Tom with Resurrection, tea and coffee, Tom and band Mistress Quickly used to play Tom's very quirky piece, "Resurrection (By Coincidence),"  which included some vocals using a fake Latinesque language.  Tom also drank plenty of tea all of his life, TJeans was actually a gift to him from my friend, Jan, and he's been having adventures ever since.  Tom also spent 10 years of his life as a machinist at the Starbucks roasting plant in Minden, NV.  He was very happy to retire from there, I can tell you.

On 15 September, it was 3 years since Tom died and it's now been almost 2 years since releasing this music.  I'm amazed that people are still discovering him...really, this kind of music doesn't come with an expiration date.

Thank you to those who listen and to Prog Archives for giving me this spot to discuss Tom and his music.

Attention Hamerheads!

From the Department of Get Out Your Virtual Tuxes and Ballgowns for The Red Carpet Department:  Come on over to Friday Night Progressive tonight, 2 October, from 6PM - 8PM PDT and give a listen to Tom and the other nominees in the Indie Prog Awards, Multi-Instrumentalist Category.  It's an honour to be there, I'm familiar with most of the other nominees as well and it promises to be a stellar affair.  The final winners in all categories are announced the Friday after Thanksgiving, 27 November this year.  Link to Friday Night Progressive:  https://fridaynightprogressive.com/home/

In other news, September was a very busy month for airplay.  Band Wagon Network Radio added both

the electric waltz and the acoustic Celtic versions of "God & the Flatlanders," this week and have continued to have "Sloppy Love At Bodie Flats," "A Slight Overture of Sorts," and "Spinning Through Eternity," on regular rotation on their Progressively Indie Hour weekdays from 1PM - 2PM PDT.  Link to BWNR:  https://thebandwagonnetwork.net/bandwagon-network-radio-showtimes/

Three other appearances this past month included Alex Cruzeta's play of "Spinning Through Eternity," in Tom's memory, on 21 September on his Monday Chemistry Sets show on Deep Nuggets; Mike Sherrill's play of "Remains of Childhood Lost," on his WTAU Pea Ridge Nation show on Spreaker on 26 September and yesterday he showed up in rotation once again on Jim Brennan's Aural Moon Radio, with a play of “Ma and Pa Kettle Go To Hell.” Links to all three follow:

As always, thank you for listening and sharing Tom's music.  September was a rough month, it's now October and time for the full swing of Autumn.  Everyone stay safe and healthy and keep listening.

Attention Hamerheads!

This just in from the Department of New Shows to Discover and Play Tom's Music Department:  It's been just about a month since the last one of these went out, but months are a lot longer than they used to be, or so it seems.  And I have an announcement of Tom's music being debuted on a show that is new to him, I anticipate perhaps another in the new future and will let you know about that one, once I've confirmed it.

Today, Monday, 26 October, from 5PM - 8PM PDT, Dave Davis will play something from Tom's catalogue on his newly resurrected show, "Independent Share," on a platform that is new for Dave, Mixcloud Live.  You can locate his show at this link tomorrow.  https://www.mixcloud.com/davidbrucedavis/

In other news, the Indie Prog Awards on Friday Night Progressive chose "Sloppy Love At Bodie Flats," to represent "Burnt Peas," in their Multi-Instrumentalist Category on 2 October.  Winners in all categories will be announced and their music reprised on 27 November, the Friday after US Thanksgiving Day.  Link to Friday Night Progressive:  https://fridaynightprogressive.com/

Kev Slaymaker over at Between Two Worlds on CRMK Radio ended his show on 5 October with "Imagination or Knowledge?"  That was appropriately, for his discussion on education and teaching, on World Teacher's Day.  Link to CRMK: https://www.crmk.co.uk/

Mike Sherrill over at WTAU Pea Ridge Nation has continued playing Tom's music each time his show has aired in October, presenting "The Fork," "Burnt Peas Finale," and "Chapter One: A Book Wife."  Link to WTAU (which includes podcasts): https://www.spreaker.com/show/the_weff_pea_ridge_nation_show

Aural Moon has Tom's music on regular rotation, and this past month played "The Fork Boogie," and "Staring It In The Face, Part 2," on 3 October and 13 October, respectively.  Link to Aural Moon:  http://auralmoon.com//

And lastly, but not leastly, Band Wagon Network Radio has played Tom on every one of their "Progressively Indie," shows this month so far, airing M-F 1PM - 2PM PDT.  They have 3 songs in rotation, "Sloppy Love At Bodie Flats," "A Slight Overture of Sorts," and "Spinning Through Eternity," for now, and station owner, Cliff, has requested that I select and send him another one this coming week.  Link to BWNR:  https://thebandwagonnetwork.net/bandwagon-network-radio-showtimes/

As a special aside re PA itself, we have been having polls mostly of non-progressive music, but twice I have presented music of Tom's on the "Interactive" polls as they are titled, and he's been well-received.  There has been a great range of music and we all have a lot of fun discussing the music we enjoy from other genres as well as progressive music, so suggesting that you might want to take a look at them.  Unless the focus IS progressive, they are to be found here:  http://www.progarchives.com/forum/forum_topics.asp?FID=41

Thank you to all who do listen, also for other musicians, these are great places for you to present your own music, potentially, so check out the shows at your leisure.

Attention Hamerheads!

From the Department of Just In Time To Create An Advance Announcement Department: I received word in the nick of time to let you know that today, Sunday, 8 November, on Progzilla Radio, Graham Hartfleet will be debuting some of Tom's music.  Graham's show is wide-ranging and engaging, the chat room is friendly as well, should you care to join in.  Noon - 2PM PT.  Link to Progzilla:  http://www.progzilla.com/

Also, with a bit more notice, Bob Prigmore has advised that Tom will appear for the second time on his Progrock "Tunesday," show, which airs, of course, today, Tuesday, 10 November from 11AM - 1:30PM PT.  His show also has a very friendly chat room and Bob is a great curator of progressive and rock music.  Link to Progrock:  https://progrock.com/

In other airplay news since the last Martian missive, both Bandwagon Network Radio (on the Progressively Indie show) has continued with Tom's music in rotation.  BWNR has played "A Slight Overture," "Spinning Through Eternity," "A Bookwife's Dream of Her Own Imposter ~ Dedication," "God & The Flatlanders ~ Waltz Version," and "Sloppy Love At Bodie Flats," on almost every weekday show.  Show hour is changing to 3PM - 4PM PT this week.  Link to Bandwagon:  https://thebandwagonnetwork.net/

WTAU Pea Ridge Nation on Spreaker played "March of the Spirit Peas," on Halloween Night, on Mike Sherrill's weekly show.  Link to WTAU:  https://www.spreaker.com/show/the_weff_pea_ridge_nation_show

And lastly, but not leastly, Dave Davis has resurrected his show, "Indie Share," now on Mixcloud Live.  He debuted "Love IS Money," on his show on 26 October and plans to introduce more of Tom's music to his audience.  Link to Indie Share:  Davidbrucedavis

Thank you for listening, those of you out there who have done so!  These are also great resources for the other musicians here at PA, so check them out for that as well.

Attention Hamerheads!

More Spinning Through Eternity News Accolades and Acknowledgements

From the Department of How Quickly Can A Month Fly By and Suddenly It's December Department:

This past 30 days, Tom's music has continued to receive airplay, been debuted on another show and also gotten two lovely accolades from two different shows/stations.

Accolades first, on 27 November, the winners of the Friday Night Progressive Indie Prog Awards were announced and played, Tom placed in the multi-instrumentalist category, with "Sloppy Love At Bodie Flats," selected to represent "Burnt Peas/The Tolling of St John's Bells."  Very proud that he did, the competition was very tight and as you know, Tom will always be 1st in my heart.  Link to the complete list (this is a fb link):  https://www.facebook.com/notes/friday-night-progressive/winners-of-the-2020-ipa/741417743396311

Link to Friday Night Progressive:  https://fridaynightprogressive.com/home/

Another pair of acknowledgements comes from Bandwagon Network Radio, where "A Bookwife's Dream of Her Own Imposter ~ Dedication," charted for the month of November, in both the Top 25 Rock Tracks and their Top 50 All Genres Tracks Charts, #23 and #24, respectively.  Link to the charts here:  https://thebandwagonnetwork.net/bwnr-charts/

There was a new show debut for Tom this past month, also, on Progzilla, Graham Harfleet kindly featured "Burnt Peas, Parts 1 & 2," and "God and the Flatlanders (Waltz Version)," on his 8 November show. Link to Progzilla:  http://www.progzilla.com/

On 10 November, Bob Prigmore's Tunesday show on Progrock.com resurrected Tom again (he'd played Tom a very long time ago, on one of his first Tunesday shows), and featured both "The Tolling of St John's Bells," and "Remains of Childhood Lost,"  to good reception in the chat room.  Link to Progrock.com: https://progrock.com/

Besides Bandwagon Network Radio, which has Tom's music on regular rotation, Mike Sherrill of W.T.A.U. Pea Ridge Nation also has continued to play pieces of Tom's on his Sunday shows, and Aural Moon Radio has Tom's music on regular rotation as well.  Link to W.T.A.U.:https://www.spreaker.com/show/the_weff_pea_ridge_nation_show

Link to Aural Moon:  http://auralmoon.com//

So here we are at the beginning of another month and over two years since the material was released, I am so happy that his music is being heard and appreciated, and hope certainly, that somehow he knows.

Thank you for listening, those of you out there who have done so!  These are also great resources for the other musicians here at PA, so check them out for that as well.

Yes, even 2020 must come to an end on Earth.  Not sure what year it is on Mars, but the music just keeps getting played.

In addition, Tom continues to get regular plays on Bandwagon Network Radio, this past month, they've continued to play "Sloppy Love At Bodie Flats," "A Slight Overture of Sorts," "A Bookwife's Dream of Her Own Imposter ~ Dedication," "Spinning Through Eternity," and "God and the Flatlanders (Waltz Version)," on their Progressively Indie show and also during random times on the station.  Link to Bandwagon Network Radio: https://thebandwagonnetwork.net/

On W.T.A.U. Pea Ridge Nation, on both Spreaker and Twitch on Saturdays, Mike Sherrill also regularly spins Tom tunes.  This month he's played "The Tolling of St. John's Bells," and "Spinning Through Eternity."  Link to WTAU: https://www.spreaker.com/show/the_weff_pea_ridge_nation_show

Attention Hamerheads!

From the Department of A Wee Bit of Notice of Upcoming Airplay Department:  Julie Sanchez has let me know that Tom’s music will be played on her show, “Prog Rock Nation,” tonight, Saturday, 6 February.  Her show airs from 7PM – 9PM PT on KTAL Las Cruces Community Radio and presents plenty of prog, from a feminine point of view.  Link to KTAL:  https://www.lccommunityradio.org/

Also received very last-minute notice yesterday that Paul Higgins was going to premiere a piece of Tom’s on Aquarian Moons, his space and psychedelic rock show.  Paul very kindly selected “Spinning Through Eternity,” and it was met with great response in the chat room.  If you would like to hear the show, the podcast is at the link to follow.  Link to Aquarian Moons: https://www.spreaker.com/show/aquarian-moons

Other airplay since the last “Martian Mail,” included a very generous play of “The Travels Suite,” on Friday Night Progressive, on 22 January.  Friday Night Progressive has been a great champion of Tom’s music, ever since they received it, well over 2 years ago.  Link to Podcast:  Link to Friday Night Progressive Podcast: https://www.mixcloud.com/ronald-marquiss/fnp-443-01-22-21/

As has been the case, Bandwagon Network Radio continues to play Tom’s music, almost daily, both on their “Progressively Indie,” show and also in regular rotation.  Progressively Indie airs every weekday from 10AM – Noon PT.  Link to Bandwagon Network Radio:  https://thebandwagonnetwork.net/

Also, Mike Sherrill of WTAU Pea Ridge Nation has played Tom’s music every time on his weekly shows over the last two+ weeks, with “Cows Appear Out of Nowhere,” and “The Wayfarer, Part 3,” being included.  Link to podcast & Link to WTAU: https://www.twitch.tv/wtaupearidgenation

Sales have also continued steadily for Tom’s music, I am very grateful to all of the hosts and fans who keep playing the music and keeping his particular musical voice heard.

Attention Hamerheads!

No, it’s not from the Perseverance rover, it’s from the Department of (Semi) Debut on a New Show News Department of News:

Through a chance encounter in a chat with a DJ from a show/ of which I somehow, was unaware, arose an opportunity to share Tom’s music with a potential new-to-us host.  DJ Tony Romero’s Live show airs on Saturdays, from 10AM PT until about 1PM PT on House of Prog internet radio.  Tony was kind enough to do a surprise debut play last Saturday, of “Sloppy Love At Bodie Flats,” and has let me know he is going to be playing more of Tom’s music tomorrow, Saturday 20 February.   Come on over and give a listen, why dontcha?  Link to House of Prog:  https://houseofprog.com/

In other exciting news (reported on in my last Martian Mail, but heck, why not repeat it anyway, in case you missed it), Dyanne Potter Voegtlin of Potter’s Daughter has kindly obtained permission to record a solo piano cover of Tom’s “Catherine,” which will be formally released in early 2022.  There are various ways to contribute to her crowdfunding effort on indiegogo with a much sooner available copy of this and also her upcoming group release.   She is planning on making “Catherine,”  available in April, for those who contribute and select it as a perk.  She is a fantastic pianist and I know she will do a fabulous job on this beautiful piece of music.

Other Martian sightings since the last missive are as follows:

On current shows, Mike Sherrill continues to play Tom’s music on his W.T.A.U. Pea Ridge Nation show.  During the past two weeks he’s aired both “Burnt Peas (Part 4),” and “The Keys.”  His show airs every Saturday from 4PM -7PM PT on Twitch television.  Link to Twitch:  https://www.twitch.tv/wtaupearidgenation

Prog Rock Nation featured “Spinning Through Eternity,” on KTAL Las Cruces Community Radio, back on 6 February.  PRN is on every week on KTAL from 7PM – 9PM PT.  Link to KTAL:  https://www.lccommunityradio.org/

Also, Bandwagon Network Radio plays something by Tom almost every day, either in rotation or on their Progressively Indie show, which airs from 10AM – Noon PT every weekday.  They have continued to play, “A Bookwife’s Dream Of Her Own Imposter ~ Dedication,” “The Wayfarer (Part One),” “God and the Flatlanders (Waltz Version),” and “A Slight Overture of Sorts.”  Link to Bandwagon Network Radio: https://thebandwagonnetwork.net/

A “reheated,” episode of Light Without Heat on 7 February included “The Keys.”  Stuffer White’s show appears on Spreaker, from 4PM to 7PM PT every Sunday.  He’s let us know the next show will be an all new and fresh one.  Link to Light Without Heat: https://www.spreaker.com/show/light_without_heat

Sales have also continued steadily for Tom’s music, I am very grateful to all of the hosts and fans who keep playing the music and keeping his particular musical voice heard.
