Two songs that have a special energy to them; a unique aura that conveis relaxation an intoxication. Of a non-sober mental state cloaked in a musical landscape of calypso in carribean tropical hypnozis.

Two songs that can tickle obsessions inside myself as a listener, from a casual hearing music to an active listener. I'm spesialy have had moments of imersed myself with Wrapped Around Your Finger; to me it is one of the best pop/rock compositions ever. But many will creddit Every Little Thing She Does is Magic similarly a great composition.

Thought we would have Tea in the Sahara and Walking on the Moon.
But alas, no.
So, definitely Wrapped around your Finger.

Like 'em both but voted for Every Little Thing She Does is Magic as the brooding verse (in G Lydian mode) followed by a chorus exploiting a calypso beat, simply wouldn't work in anybody else's hands apart from Sting. Still astonishing even 40 years hence.

the Police excelled with that vibe man..

my favorite of those types of Police songs would be Bring On the Night from what I'd consider their best album Reggatta de Blanc

I was gonna say exactly the same thing... the same two songs in the same order.

Big 'The Police' fan, and those two songs reaally relax me... specially 'Tea', what a marvelous song… and 'Walking' also, what a masterpiece.. always listening to those two.. (it seems I'm a bit stressed frequently Confused LOL) when I hear 'Walking' I go on to 'On Any Other Day'. Love it.

I stay with the upbeat 'Every Little Thing..'  the chorus, perhaps not what I like best.. all the rest is masterful, Andy Summers touches really help create those moods..

Could have easily been Shadows in the Rain and Behind my Camel.
Sheesh, might have to dig out some Police.......
Always loved Masako Tanga. We gotta start an ‘appreciation thread’ for Sting and the boyz....

Magic. Have to mention Murder by Numbers. Sting did a version live with Zappa and his band that kills.

Not "Secret Journey" vs "Darkness"?

My vote is for "Every Little Thing She Does is Magic". Nothing against the very effective "Wrapped Around Your Finger", but it is impossible for me to hear ELTSDIM without thinking of my 1981-82 school year! And a certain beautiful blonde!

Both, but not an option so chose ' Wrapped '....
