Slade vs T.Rex... well that's a blast from the past. During the early '70s, My older brother had a copy of Slade Alive! which I quite liked (and was my first exposure to any version of Born To Be Wild). Also, during this time, I enjoyed a number of T.Rex tracks that were played on the radio, though I didn't get any of their records. However, I haven't listened to either group since that time, so I won't vote.

No, I know how to behave in the restaurant now, I don't tear at the meat with my hands. If I've become a man of the world somehow, that's not necessarily to say I'm a worldly man.

Slade I don't know that much about other than that Quiet Riot used a couple of their songs. But I'm a pretty huge T. Rex fan. Bothers me a lot that the ONLY song by them(him) that ever plays on the radio here anymore is Get It On. Come on, the whole Slider album is a freakin masterpiece. Electric Warrior and Tanx are great also. A Beard of Stars, Self-titled, Unicorn.. So much great stuff. He's an all time great lyrical poet imo too.
