Never been that fond of the Kinks, but I love the Who, so it's an easy choice.

I have been listening to some of the Kinks albums, i really like the lyricism and the play with language which Ray Davies does. The first song on Village Green Preservation Society is among my favourite lyrics ever. So simple yet so observant.
Waterloo Sunset is one of the songs on that brings the feeling of the 60s (oddely for me not being even alive then). There are a couple of good documentaries amd portraits on Ray Davies on Youtube that ide reccomend anyone to explore. Edited by Icarium - April 16 2020 at 16:07 |
