It's pretty much the lower quantile for all the models we have. I don't understand why that translates to bad to you. A lot of people are going to die from COVID-19 and from secondary effects. That's the unfortunate reality.

The unfortunate reality is that one month ago Trump said that if 15 people died from the virus, he would be doing a job. If one million people died, he would say the same. That's the reality. No matter what happens, he was perfect.

Of course this is given all the things done to stop or contain Covid-19, see what goes on in Wuhan, China, Italy, South Korea, all the other countries in which Covid-19 has started by now. How many deaths we'd have without these measures is anyone's guess. Look at the state of Italian and Spanish hospitals dealing just with all those who got infected before the lockdown (even at times when people already started some kind of social distancing).

It's heads I win, tails you lose.  Govts take action to mitigate the risk and then you get, "Oh, it wasn't worth it at all".  Well, maybe at least one country should have experimented with herd immunity so it would be clear exactly how disastrous that would have been.

Another one to look at in regard to "herd immunity" is Belarus, where the president has ordered everything to carry on as normal, and people just need to drink more vodka to combat the effects of the virus.

Having been sick for a week and a half now with Coronavirus after returning from Spain, I can honestly say that this is no joke and needs to be taken very seriously.

I have had pneumonia like symptoms and breathing difficulties and, whilst I am now on the mend, I can still feel the virus on my chest and it's not very pleasant at all!
