No need to stereotype Americans. I'm one and don't have any guns, I am running out of TP for my bung-hole. So how do you Eueropeans clean without TP?

No, Europeans use a bidet. A lesson learned from the last world war, I should think.

I recommend a Karcher jet wash (not on the most powerful setting though).

Such devices are not used north of the 50° latitude as far as I know. I have never seen them north of France anyway.

I have not heard anything about hoarding guns on the news, now I have been trying to only watch in the morning too much negative energy to do that all day. But how do you hoard guns? You can't just go out and buy them all as I think some states restrict to one gun a month, gun buying laws are state by state I believe.
Thinking ahead about a vaccine approval.......I can only imagine how slammed all the local family dr offices will get, the lines will be endless.

I have seen one or two in France. Which is more than I counted in North America!

Just hope that more countries realise that paying TAX and having free Healthcare is essential in the modern world, and does not only benefit the poor. If so something good will come out of a very bad situation.

No need to stereotype any nation, it was just a news I heard and can´t understand it. I know every American didn´t vote Trump.
About toilet paper I didn´t buy it on Friday when really many Finnish people run to buy it (on Sunday three men have punchfighting about TP), on Monday we have to buy it, because we have run out of it and only package was 32 couple package (normally we buy 8 couple package). We were at the shop today again and there were again toilet paper. Anyway we have bidee too, so it won´t be catastrophe if TP runs out.

The British are very uptight about &rse wiping. TP will become currency soon, as will paracetamol and dry pasta. Our supermarket shelves are now empty. Most supermarkets have brought in new rules to allow the elderly and disabled priority to the stocks early in the day, which is a good move. So far, the chaos in our food shops has been tolerated in relatively good humour, but I suspect that's about to change in the coming week or so, and I expect to see fists flying every now and then, and shoppers being mugged in the car park for their bog roll. The great pasta riots of 2020 are coming. I'll be glad when all this is over, and there is lull in chaos before Covid-20 is unleashed on the world

I understand the bidet shoots water to clean the poop. How do you dry? Do you sit until dry, fan in the bidet? Just walk around in soggy britches? Really curious to an explanation as we don't see bidets often in America.

Beats me. I never had the proper foreign currency to put in the coin slot in order to use one.

^^ Normally there's a towel next to the bidet for that purpose. I have one in my house but never used it.

I agree, this is gonna get ugly, crime will increase. Fistfights will turn into something worse. This will be a test of how much humans can tolerate. I will do my best.

When you really REALLY think about it...it’s probably most of the Western world that got it wrong with regards to the whole bidet thing. Pop quiz: what do you do if you fall and plunge your hand in a warm turd lying on the road? I hope you don’t just wipe it with some white paper and be on your merry way. Nah you wash it. Similar thing on the toilet; what we effectively are doing is basically just smearing poop round our collective starfishes A bidet is really the civilised thing here folks...says the man who has used one maybe twice in his lifetime

I follow up my sshhmearing with a flushable wipe....squeaky clean!
Regarding the bidet, who actually uses one on a daily basis?? I have tried them while in other countries but clearly was not using it right .
