Echolyn's self-titled album, with Until All the Ghosts Are Gone, English Electric (Part One) and Grimspound as runners-up.

I'd drifted away from prog in the last 10 years, but I remember well how excited I was for this one -
Actually I (re)listened to the whole of it just few months ago and enjoyed it immensely! |

The thing I enjoyed most was Jonas Reingold's bass playing, I could listen to him all day. |

That is the weakest track on the CD....still brilliant tho...Tillison is preaching to his contemporaries, he would deffo been my best mate if we were school mates....his cover notes always strike a chord with my formative years.... |

Listening now. There's an impressive density to what's going on here, with a rapid turnover of ideas. Also lots and lots of words! The first track comes in at just under 13 minutes and feels a bit like a whole album's worth of material compacted into one song. I think I'm going to dig this, but it's going to take a little time to absorb...

ÄNGLAGÅRD Viljans Öga, 2012 I believe. I actually prefer this to their two previous albums...this album is heavy and spooky!!! (and a wonderful recording, very organic!)

This is my favourite Änglagård album, and I had considered it for top album of the decade. |

No, I know how to behave in the restaurant now, I don't tear at the meat with my hands. If I've become a man of the world somehow, that's not necessarily to say I'm a worldly man.

Tough one, gotta go with Wobblers From Silence to Somewhere very closely followed by All Traps On Earth, Blackstar and Hand Cannot Erase.
