Been a while--this was my random listening last night from about 11000 shuffled tracks. Great variety in this one!   I'm glad some Reggae showed up because I have very little of the genre.

MULTIPLE IS ON!!  I'd suggest picking your top 3-4 in the poll (you have to do it one at a time, can't do all at once).

If you like, make a ranked list in the comments for your favorite to least fave.

Here's my assessment/ranking.

1. Song of Scheherezade  Just amazing: one of my all-time faves and high on my Top Prog list!
2. Vivo Scherezando  Love the little of Kotebel that I've heard!
3. Put the Law on You; Merchant is super soulful on this one!
4. Of These, Hope, a creative Gabriel.

Those are the 4 I picked above, then...

5. closely followed by Bowie cuz its Bowie
6. Jerusalem Pt I, Bob Marley, and the Dead Can Dance all about the same--(still absorbing Drone metal, I've heard better DCD tracks, but this is OK, and Reggae's great but usually sounds all the same to me).
7. Blackjack Davy. not bashing it, this is a good track, just not as good as most of the rest.
8. Eat it -- kind of cute to listen to on a rare occasion, but other than that, nah.

Here's some of (what I think are probably) the lesser knowns:

I voted for Renaissance but I like Dead Can Dance and Weird Al Yankovic too. I'm not familiar with the other seven entries in the poll.

a)   (Sigh) That's at least partly why I turn on Multiple, but half the people who do these polls seem to not pay attention to that for some reason--You can also vote for DCD and Yankovic if you want! (see instructions with my comments above).  and

b)   I started posting videos of less familiar bands so people can listen to at least some of the stuff they may not have heard.  Maybe you'll at least have a good first impression and want to cast a vote!  I don't expect people to know all the songs, but that's part of the reason I even listen to music randomly and make these polls is to churn up tracks that I (and others who see them) may have not heard, or not heard in a long time, (or would otherwise not take the time to listen to). and finally,

c) most importantly!  thanks for posting the Eat It video!  LOL   ... except,

d) it doesn't seem to be working  Shocked.

I had the same problem with the above Weird Al Yankovic video too. It appears you can only view it by linking to You Tube. Maybe I'll have more luck with the next video. Smile
I think you'll like this Weird Al video too. Smile

Yes, I remember the Weird Al vids from back in the day... on MTV weren't they?

Unfortunately the second vid is also giving the  "unavailable" message. Are you sure you're linking to them correctly?

How come you're such a fussy young maan, don't want no Captain Crunch, don't want no Raisin Bran. Don't try to tell me other kids are starving is Japan, just eat it. Just eat it.

I like Yankovic but...how can it be compared with a masterpiece like Song of Sheherazade?
I stand with Roger Waters, I stand with Joan Baez, I stand with Victor Jara, I stand with Woody Guthrie. Music is revolution

Agreed. Looks like a few of the Yankovic fan club came out! But again, consider, multiple is ON, and Scheherezade has easily gotten the most votes--most pollees just haven't been commenting on what is their first vs. 2nd vs.... choices.

I'm a tad surprised that Sleep hasn't (yet) gotten a vote. I guess Progheads generally aren't into what I think is referred to as "drone metal".

BTW HAPPY LEAP DAY!

I'm not sure what the problem is with the Weird Al videos. Maybe the YouTube uploader didn't want to share the videos with any other websites. Confused

I have to add the Eat It column.  I've only heard a few of the other songs, but this is easily my favorite of those...including the Renaissance song.

Renaissance, followed by Weird Al and Mr. Gabriel.
Welcome to the middle of the film.
