Hi all,
So I've had an account here for a while, but only just getting around to introducing myself now because I don't usually involve myself in forums anymore. Anyways, I'm a Michigan based progressive rock nerd who absolutely loves most things prog and psychedelic. I use to play in a psychedelic band, and have since been working on personal progressive projects. My personal play style on guitar is influenced by David Gilmour on the Space Rock side of things, and then Syd Barrett, and Roger Wootton and Glenn Goring (from Comus) for the more eclectic psychedelic side. My favorite band is Pink Floyd, followed by a huge assortment of others (Babylon, Island, King Crimson, Jethro Tull [side note, Passion Play is their best album, fight me], Elizabeth, Comus, Pyramidal, The Future King of England, Eloy, Floh de Cologne, etc). I am a large fan of symphonic prog and space rock. Not the biggest Prog Metal fan, though I've recently started coming around to Dream Theater (I also do have a love of Iron Maiden's Somewhere in Time, but I despise everything after that from their discography). I am currently toying around with forming a progressive rock band, just haven't found people interested in the same styles of prog. Anyways, nice to meet y'all. Hope to get to know the gaggle around here.

Welcome, I recommended Comus in your dark topic as I had not read this topic yet. I'm very into plenty of psychedelic music myself, and Pink Floyd certainly was my favourite band for a long time and remains one of my favourites. I hope you enjoy your time here, and best of luck finding the right people to form a band with.
