I'm guessing Rick Wakeman will win this poll, although my vote goes to Jon Anderson. I doubt very much if drummer Alan White will receive any votes for his one solo album, but you never know - I've been wrong before. Wink

I can't really vote as i've only heard albums from four of these guys. Six Wives of Henry VII is my favorite but i'm just getting into bruford. No vote.

The poll will serve as a handy reminder to me of which YES solo artists albums I want to review. I already reviewed Jon Anderson's first album "Olias of Sunhillow" just yesterday and gave it five stars. Smile

Bruford comes first, Wakeman second.

It's good to see the much-missed Chris Squire doing well in the poll, considering he's only released a couple of solo albums. His first album "Fish Out of Water" (1975) is another album I'd like to get around to reviewing sometime.

Jon Anderson for me. I haven't heard every solo album by every Yes guy but Jon really took chances on some of his stuff.

I gave Jon a YES vote too. I've liked every album I've ever heard by Jon Anderson, either with or without YES.

Same here although I need to explore his post 80's stuff a bit more.

Squire and Bruford might have the best albums, but Wakeman is much more prolific. If I were to review The Six Wives of Henry VIII, it'd be very close to 5 stars. I think he deserves my vote.

Wakeman is losing this poll? How the prog universe has changed. LOL

YES, it's surprised me too that Chris Squire has received more votes in the poll than Rick Wakeman, even though Rick Wakeman has recorded at least fifty albums, compared to Chris Squire's two albums. Smile

Fish OutOf Water is a wonderful album, surely in my all-time best list.

(go for the hybrid SACD if you can, it includes an interview/album commentary by CS, which is a delight for the fans - and top SQ, of course)
