Not the end of the world I suppose but my guess would be that most on here would rather have you left off FYFM. Wink

Probably Undertow. Beautiful song. Followed by Down and Out.

My boss entered the room while in the middle of creating this poll and he needed the pc...immediately! Man, I could feel his breath on my neck...so I think we can all blame him for the 'Many too Many' omission. haha!

Cannot pick one, or just a few songs; I have always loved every minute of every track on this album. Love the atmosphere it creates.

well I agree with Tony Banks who says this album really misses the greatness of Hackett---Steve on Down and Out and Burning Rope would have been awesome--with Hackett and a few songs that are not very good replaced by good Hackett songs and this album would have been amazing.

Not my favourite Genesis album. I miss Steve Hackett. Voted for Say It's alright Joe. Follow you, Follow me is the worse thing they ever wrote.

^ how on earth can someone hate that beautiful song. They have so many actual bad songs but the worst thing they ever wrote? That’s harsh.

You're own special way is probably his second least favorite.  Tongue I can pretty much guarantee if this was done for W&W YOSW  would get the least number of votes.

Motherlode … especially the 2007 remaster.  A nice bit of soft shoe shuffle from Phil and I love the 'screechy' guitar just after the mid song section. Great lyrics that almost take you right back to the goldrush and how it may have felt. All in all perfect prog in a very neat package. I love the whole album and consider it right up with their best.

That's indeed the main three, but most of the tracks are OL, except for FYFM, which had nothing to do sonically-speaking on that otherwise very cohesive & coherent album....
Even if I hated it at the time, despite them explaining the hows and whys of the sonic chages in Down & Out.

Why a multi vote poll..?

My vote goes to Down and Out (in my top 5 fave Genesis songs, for sure) although there's numerous gems on this album. Undertow is glorious, as is Burning Rope and Deep in the Motherlode.

I don't care what the skeptics say, ATTWT is an excellent album.

Ultimately bored by endless ecstasy!

Down and Out. Lots of interesting complexities going on in that song. The drums in particular.
