First couple Toto albums are excellent, ELO Out Of the Blue is amazing and a couple others are good. Journey early albums are great ARO.

Styx though is killer all throughout and especially Crash Of the Crown is fantastic, for this late in the game for them to put out an album like that speaks volumes.

^ Agree with this, even with most album choices, but these two Styx albums stand out for me compared to the others...

Very difficult... for me, each band did a couple of really interesting albums in their heyday:

Styx: Grand Illusion/ Pieces of Eight
Journey: Infinity/ Evolution/ Departure
Toto: Hydra/ Turn Back

ELO's early, most progressive albums weren't of the highest quality overall, so I find it hard to give an answer.

Love ELO, really like a few Toto-tunes but not really into Styx or Journey at all.

I am a fan of all of these bands, but Journey is definitely my favorite from this batch.

ELO...due to the first 4 albums.

I'm going with ELO because their AOR/pop reminds me of the Beatles. (I Heart the Beatles.)

Journey LOL Seriously. I enjoy the pre-Perry era up to a couple songs on Frontiers. Sure, the later stuff ain't prog but it's some damn fine music.

Early Styx has some great stuff so they come in second.

I've never been able to get into ELO

And Toto.....? Well, I like this song https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nZdWB6mmubE

Styx, for Equinox, Crystal Ball, and The Grand Illusion — and especially the talents of DeYoung and Shaw.

ELO without reservation.

Styx had their moments, pretty much ending by Pieces of Eight

Toto had their more limited moments, especially on the debut and Hydra, but everything after that was lame commercial schlock.

And Journey sucked eggs the day Steve Perry showed up.

A lot of wasted talent there, especially Luthaker, Schon, and Porcaro.

This one is interesting, When I was young I went through both an ELO & a Journey phase. These days I'm liking Toto more so they got my vote. Saw them open for Yes a few years ago. Great show . Lukather is a monster!
