How do I enter and search for the 250 Live albums that ever came out including the Prog Related and Proto-Prog genres? Because I have no idea how to do that when searching on the custom filter and top ranking page cause Prog Related and Proto Prog are not searchable for live albums and I want to include them with every genre.
You know sorta like this with proto Prog and Prog related included. http://www.progarchives.com/top-prog-albums.asp?ssubgenres=&salbumtypes=4&syears=&scountries=&sminratings=1&smaxratings=0&sminavgratings=0&smaxresults=250&x=42&y=4#list Edited by freudiana - February 09 2019 at 10:35 |

I, too, am interested in filtering the database for prog-related and/or proto-prog. Does anyone know the subgenre codes? Thanks!

After playing around with the numbers a bit:
For Proto-Prog it's 37 For Prog-Related it's 38 http://www.progarchives.com/top-prog-albums.asp?ssubgenres=37 http://www.progarchives.com/top-prog-albums.asp?ssubgenres=38 Or for both: http://www.progarchives.com/top-prog-albums.asp?ssubgenres=37&ssubgenres=38 So you can play around with the filters as you like as long as you have ssubgenres=37 or ssubgenres=37 in the url, or both with ssubgenres=37&ssubgenres=38 If you start by selecting a category or two in the filter and your other filter options, then it's easy to change the subgenre numbers to use more customised results. For instance, here is the 1970 to 1975 Prog Related charts: CLICK EDIT: Though the OP is old, here is the live albums chart for Proto Prog plus Prog Related: CLICK Oh, and for all live albums including PP and PR I individually chose each subgenre one by one as multiple selection (instead of ALL) then added the Proto-Prog and Prog-Related codes for this: CLICK for list Edited by Logan - October 21 2019 at 22:37 |
