(handwrist, would you like to give more details about the instrumentation of your works, so I can update the info on the page/s ?)

Hi Quinino,

Of course. Other than the two guests listed, everything is played or programmed (MIDI) by myself. Drums are fully programmed since I don't play the instrument, guitar is fully played by me (mostly soloing), everything else (synths, bass, etc) is a mix of midi programming and me playing on keyboards, how much one or the other depends - if it's a synth or organ solo it's mostly performed, if it's a written phrase it's 50/50. Production, Arrangements, Mixing, Mastering all done by me.

I use an Strat that used to belong to the band Delfins in the 90s with a sh*tty amp and regular keyboard with Midi input. All effects are added afterward.

I forgot to answer on the other thread, but I am not a professional musician, I just do this as a hobby.

If you have any other specific question I'd be happy to answer.

Thank you,

Please check if it's ok the way I wrote it.

Thank you, abraço !

(is it correct to update the same way on the other albums?)

Some of the albums have covers whose original artwork is by different people, but I don't remember off the top of my head.

Abraço!

It's great to hear from you again and nice to see you here. I hope you'll stick around.
I finally heard Tribulation the other day and I thought it was a step up in every aspect. The guest musicians also bring more diversity to the music (which was already very diverse).

Strat and a sh*tty amp, that sounds familiar LOL

By the way, what do you use for drums? I've been using my analog synth with step sequencer for beats (the 70's way Tongue) but it's very flat for some ideas I have.

^^ I picked up some from the bandcamp page credits.

Just one more question  - you did vocals yourself up until Branching Out, is that so?
(already bought the last album but haven't listened to the initial albums yet - anyway wouldn't recognize whose voice it might be)

@Meltdowner,

Thank you! I use Mixcraft 7 as a DAW (I know, I know...) and I mostly use the drum kits from there. Sometimes I also use garritan instruments, and on Tribulation I used in some Omnikit, which lets you build your drum machine.

Tribulation was planned as a different thing, and the guest musicians are part of it (the instances where they show in Pilgrimage and Paranoia Hotel are just leftovers from those sessions). I did spend a lot of money on Fiverr for hiring them - and some didn't even made the cuts because it wasn't good enough and I couldn't edit it satisfactorily. But anyway, that will not happen again for sure unless I win the lottery. It's a lot of fun, and it brings a lot of texture, but it's too much money. I'll probably buy a sax or clarinet to play myself in the future, as I know how to play them - record them will be tough though.

@Quinino,

Thanks for the purchase! All vocals are done by me, not just until BO - although after that, it's majority instrumental. But when it's sang, it's me.

Thanks, I'll look into those. I use Reaper, I'll have to see what I can use with it. Omnikit seems interesting for what I have in mind.

I didn't know that platform. I bet it's full of wannabe singers :P
That's cool, at least you'll be able to play what you want, the way you want. It can't be as tough as recording/mixing acoustic drums.
