He neither drank, smoked, nor rode a bicycle. He got lost in the labyrinth that is ProgArchives. He just spammed, heading for an early bash by a moderating minotaur.

It's good to be fast, I feel, since when caught in the act of spamming, the digital consciousness may be caught in the web, and that mind will be trapped in the Interhellz until Virtual Armageddon.
Anyway, it's good to have advanced Voodoo Tech since it's not enough to ban the spammer, curse programs and ominous IT commands must be executed to deal with the irksome sprites. |

In the thread "The New Neal Morse Appreciation Thread", a new user called daciyatsi has "posted" a text which was a post of mine in page #1 of that thread.

I'm not sure if this is technically considered spam or not but there's a pretty new user who keeps posting albums one right after the other in the recommendations section. I'm pretty sure this person has done this in the past under a different user name(names). I don't know how big of a deal it is but it's really annoying to say the least. It's too bad there's no way to ignore posts on here. If you go to the "I recommend" section(in recommendations)you will see what I'm referring to.

Hmm, not sure what you found so annoying. Unless some posts have been removed, I don't see a problem. If you meant Sgt Pepper, he posted five albums in "I Recommend" over three days, which is not really excessive for such a "list" thread. Others just weren't posting at that time. In another album list thread, "What albums did you listen to today?", a couple of those were repeated. Maybe something happened that was dealt with already. If you think someone has been posting under multiple user names, please PM an admin with any details so we can investigate (it's particularly problematic if done concurrently). If you can remember some of the usernames, we will look into that to see if someone has broken any guidelines. |

This person has had other names on here in the past but has probably been kicked off then rejoined under other user names. Yes, I am referring to Sgt. Pepper. This person(I won't assume it's a "he") is a borderline spammer to say the least(imo).

If you have details, including old usernames and other evidence to support what you think, please PM those to me and I will look into it. I don't see the evidence or patterns from what I've looked into, and I wouldn't want to cast aspersions on someone, or question them, without very clear reason and evidence. If you would rather PM George and/or Keishiro, that's fine too -- perhaps you did already (I'm not visiting the site much at this time).
