Both albums seem to have their detractors. Nonetheless according to the RIAA they are the Yes albums that have sold the most copies so I thought I would put them up against each other. Which one do you prefer?

Fragile, and 90125 should get its head handed to it in this poll.

90125 was a massive album when I was a teenager and commanded my stereo for years. Changes is an amazing song, as are so many others on this album.

There is no contest... I like Fragile nearly as much as Close to the Edge, so it gets my vote. I do like 90125, but it just can't compare with Fragile, and it doesn't have a South Side of the Sky.

No, I know how to behave in the restaurant now, I don't tear at the meat with my hands. If I've become a man of the world somehow, that's not necessarily to say I'm a worldly man.

Fragile is one of the truly "foundational" LP's of all time. 90125 was merely great.

Fragile...

He neither drank, smoked, nor rode a bicycle. Living frugally, saving his money, he died early, surrounded by greedy relatives. It was a great lesson to me -- John Barrymore

Fragile 100%
Fragile is one of the classic Yes albums, along with CTTE, Relayer, and The Yes Album. 90125 is a good album, but from a different era and doesn't sit in the same league as the 70's classics |

most ridiculous poll ever--lol
Fragile is a landmark prog album where 5 of the best are showing off their prowess before their masterpiece comes out---original and amazing album still sounds fresh. 90125--a 80's album with mixed results---lots of cheesy guitar sounds and sounds real dated---but I liked it at the time somewhat .

Fragile for sure, great album. 90215 was but a decent Prog-Pop album which I don’t have much time for these days.

Just gave 90125 it's second vote as it's the album that originally got me into Yes. It, the self-titled (shapes) Genesis album, and the first Asia album will always have a very special place in my heart.

Oh yes! For me both. Fragile has got more quality standard: It's proggy. 90125 is a perfect crossover prog album (perhaps prog-related). It flies lower but with high class.

[most ridiculous poll ever--lol]
Heh. You know I never realized it would be such a slaughter especially since I seem to hear so many people say that Fragile didn't work for them because of the individual tracks and TYA and CTTE are so much better. Both are the band's best selling albums although CTTE might be catching up in that department. I suppose maybe it is ridiculous but hey someone had to do it. :P
