One of my favorites, not  mentioned (?) yet, is Lumsk.  Some of the best female vocals in Norway, by far, IMHO.

I'll just mention Conception and Ark, both with guitarist Tore Ostby, very talented musician. Ark - Burn the Sun is one of the best progressive metal ever.

I also love a band called Deja Vu, they released only one album, in 1976 - Between the Leaves.

This is a great track! Thank you for sharing it on Bandcamp, especially if it won't be on the upcoming album. I'm very excited for that one! Jord was certainly one of the best of last year.

Any news on Ingelrii? I'm happy to hear that The Chronicles of Father Robin should be out in 2019.

Thanks!
No news on Ingelrii, I should ask the guys. They were planning to do some live gigs, but nothing's happened. The sound clips on their FB page sounds promising.

I know that Wobbler is rehearsing and recording some new material these days...! And a new Jordsjø album in late April/early May.

Artwork on the Father Robin record(s) is in the making now! And it seems like the Ingelrii record will be released in springtime! So hopefully these records will see the light of day within the year.

Hey all. I scrolled through this thread and was surprised to not see Heilung or Euzen among this list. For any unfamiliar see below. Well worth the time.

Isn't it good --
Norwegian prog.

Hi. Welcome to the forum! Those bands are Danish, not Norwegian. That might be why they're not mentioned in this thread. Wink

They have members from both Denmark and Norway according to their bands bio. Although their bandcamp pages do have them in Denmark so that's my bad.

Monograf debut album "Nadir" is out today. More in the dark, post rock vibe. And some Mellotron by yours truly. Dark, monumental, epic. I think it's very good!

I love Norwegian Prog. They seem to do it with a dose of magic (not that other Scandinavian and related folks don’t deliver) but musicians from these parts just know. Amazing folks.
