My Proggy [American] Government Shutdown Song

   I recorded a comical take on the current government shutdown, of course, as a 7+ prog-related song with lots of mellotron [samples] 

The recurrent theme that starts the song represents Trump: the mellotron flute represents how small and weak he is, while the grandiose variation with choral mellotron is his narcissism. The 'main' song is the last days before the government shutdown, with twitter tantrums interrupting progress in congress. The shutdown happens around minute 5 and the ending is congress taking charge and reopening the government.

	Thanks for sharing. Isn't it easy to just crank out music protesting (either seriously or comically) what's going on? I noticed the reference to another brick in the wall. Yeah, I have another lengthy one about Trump's MAGA movement, this one is more serious. Decay (Truth, Kindness, Community). As the title implies, this is a 3-part song: Decay of Truth - an unsettling piano + strings passage Decay of Kindness - energetic with a hint of sadism and a funereal ending *Decay of Community - a slow build up to a hopeless wall of sound https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k9LH83LDLG8&t=3s The prog is not as abundant as the other one, though truth has the typical prog epic intro, kindness revolves around 7/8.
